A/N: Okay so apparently when you said make this as long as I want, I decided 12,915 words seemed appropriate! Also decided to channel all my own feelings about going through childbirth into this one apparently, so sorry about that! Anyway, I hope this meets what you were looking for! Thank you for the brilliant request!

The mist clung to the surface of the dark waters, thick and unmoving, like the breath of something ancient lurking beneath. Your ship cut through it in silence, the towering waterfalls of Wano growing closer by the second. Even after all your years at sea, the sheer size of the country's natural defences sent a shiver down your spine.

You adjusted your stance at the helm, rolling your shoulders to ease the dull ache spreading through your back. The weight of your growing belly made it harder to move the way you used to, but you had learned to compensate. Your hands remained steady on the railing, your expression unreadable as you studied the treacherous path ahead.

"Captain, we're approaching the waterfall" your first mate murmured. You nodded. "We do this fast. No mistakes". Your crew moved like a well oiled machine, small in comparison to most, but sharp, capable, loyal to you beyond question.

They had followed you without hesitation when you decided to come here, despite the danger. Despite the one person who had tried to stop you. Your grip tightened as the memory surfaced.

Law's golden eyes, burning with something raw and unfamiliar, as he told you not to go. The weight of his words pressing down on your chest as he told you exactly what you already knew. You were pregnant, and it would be selfish, and yet, you had come to Wano anyway.

Law hadn't taken it well when you pushed back, not that you'd expected him to. You could still hear his voice in your head, low and sharp, whispering accusations of recklessness, of selfishness, of things he couldn't quite say outright.

But he was wrong. You weren't reckless. You weren't selfish. You were a Yonko. An Emperor of the Sea, and you refused to sit back and do nothing while your brother walked into a war.

As your ship crested the waterfall, your crew let out hushed breaths of relief. You immediately set to work, guiding them toward the cover of the dense forests below. You had planned for this. You knew Wano wasn't the kind of place you could simply waltz into as pirates, you had to disappear first.

Your crew docked the ship in a hidden cove, camouflaging it with foliage to ensure no prying eyes spotted it. Then came the disguises.

A loose kimono, carefully chosen with comfort for the growing swell of your belly. A hairpin tucked into your obi that doubled as a hidden blade. A carefully rehearsed alias. You had to become a ghost.

Wano had its own way of swallowing you whole. Whilst waiting for the others, you had moved through its towns unnoticed, listening to the whispers of merchants and townsfolk alike, soaking in every detail of the country's decay under Orochi and Kaido's rule.
