A/N: Here's some platonic Jinbe, I honestly love Jinbe, he is one of the many characters I wish was real, just because I think he'd be great at giving advice! The perfect person to go to with any problems!

The Thousand Sunny rocked gently with the rolling waves, bathed in the warm glow of the afternoon sun. The deck was alive with laughter, the usual sounds of the Straw Hats enjoying their free time together.

Luffy, as always, was at the centre of it all, shouting loudly as he wrestled Usopp and Chopper in some sort of impromptu game. Nami watcher from the sidelines, half amused, half annoyed, while Franky egged them on.

It was a scene so familiar that you barely thought twice about it, until your eyes landed on Jinbe. He stood at the edge of the deck, arms crossed, watching the chaos with a neutral expression.

It wasn't the first time you'd seen him observing rather than participating, but today, there was something different in the way he held himself. He wasn't displeased, not exactly. Just... separate.

Jinbe was still new to the crew in many ways. He'd been a friend long before he became an official Straw Hat, but adjusting to life aboard the Sunny was different from fighting alongside each other in a war. The crew could be overwhelming, even for you, and you'd been part of this family for a long time.

You leaned against the railing beside him, close enough to be friendly but not intruding on his space. "Not much of a wrestling fan?"

Jinbe exhaled a short chuckle, the sound deep and rich. "It's not that. I admire their energy, truly. But..." He hesitated, choosing his words carefully. "It's simply not my kind of entertainment".

You nodded, watching as Luffy body slammed Chopper into the deck, sending the little reindeer rolling. "Yeah, it can be a bit much".

Jinbe hummed in agreement, his gaze drifting out to the open sea. The ocean stretched endlessly, its rhythmic waves a stark contrast to the lively scene behind you both. It was peaceful out here, quiet, calm. A place to breathe.

"You don't have to force yourself into their games, you know" you smiled, tilting your head toward him. "Everyone has their own way of enjoying themselves. Maybe we just have to find yours".

He turned to you, brows slightly raised. "Find mine?". You shrugged. "Sure. The Sunny has more to offer than wrestling matches and shouting contests".

You glanced over at the others, where Franky was now dramatically narrating the match as if it were a championship fight. "I mean, if that's not your speed".

Jinbe smiled, small, but genuine. "I appreciate the thought". You pushed off the railing, stretching a little. "Come on, let's go see what else there is to do. Something tells me we can find a better way for you to enjoy your time here".

Jinbe looked at you for a moment, then nodded. "Very well". As you led him away from the noise, you caught one last glimpse of the crew's antics. Luffy, mid air, aiming for a tackle, met the deck face first as Zoro casually dodged without looking. It was a wonder the ship was still in one piece.
