A/N: Scenarios and reactions gotta be my favourite to write despite being known for one shots! Hop you don't mind that I made this modern AU, since I didn't know how to make it work in the canon universe.

Law
The house you and Law shared was modest but well kept, organised, yet still carrying traces of both your personalities.

It was undeniably more his aesthetic than yours, with its neutral colours, clean surfaces, and neatly stacked books. But your presence softened it.

A couple of mismatched blankets draped over the couch, a few scattered decorations that Law didn't outright reject, and a growing collection of mugs that were definitely not his doing. It was home.

And today, your home was completely devoid of Halloween spirit. You sighed dramatically as you stood in the middle of the living room, arms crossed, surveying the space with growing dissatisfaction. "Law, this is tragic".

From his usual spot on the couch, your boyfriend barely glanced up from his book. "What's tragic?"

"This". You gestured wildly to the room. "There's nothing spooky in here. It's October 31st, and I don't see a single pumpkin. No skeletons. No bats. No ghosts".

"Because we don't need any" Law said flatly, flipping a page. "It's a pointless holiday". You sighed in exaggerated offence.

"It's not pointless! It's Halloween!" You stated. "You know, the one day of the year where it's socially acceptable to dress like a vampire and eat sweets for dinner".

"We can dress like a vampire all year if we want" he muttered. You huffed. "Okay, scratch that, you're seriously not even a little interested? Not even in a horror movie marathon?"

Law didn't respond, which told you everything you needed to know. Fine. He wanted to be an anti Halloween grump? You'd just have to change that.

A mischievous smirk curled at your lips. If Law wouldn't get into the spirit willingly, then maybe... a little gentle persuasion was in order. Which meant, a prank.

Nothing over the top, of course, you weren't trying to actually upset him. Just something lighthearted, something to shake him out of that too serious mindset.

Law was all about control, about anticipating everything before it happened. A well timed prank? It'd catch him off guard, and if you managed to get even the tiniest smile out of him? Well, that'd be worth it.

Now, the question was how to execute it. A simple jump scare? Too predictable. A fake injury? Risky. Maybe something subtle... something that would mess with him just enough to throw him off.

Your eyes landed back on Law, still deeply absorbed in his book. Completely unaware of the plan forming in your head, a grin tugged at your lips. Oh, this was going to be fun.
