Chapter 154 - Meet the parents

"We all greet the god of all beasts, Nabu, and the mother of all, Gaia!"

Dumu, Tarik and the other chiefs looked at Theo who is still bowed down, unmoving. Then they look at each other, confusion in their eyes, not daring to look directly at the two tall figures. Beast men are gifted with tall and large physique but these two are way more intimidating than them. It's like their bodies naturally knew and recognized the danger in front of them and they dare not to provoke or anger them.

What are you two doing? Give respect to the god and goddess!

Theo side glanced at Dumu and Tarik and signalled them with his eyes and questionable facial expression. Dumu and Tarik were startled but understood. They also bowed down all the way to the ground with both their arms upward in offering.

"We greet the god of beasts, Nabu, and the mother of all, Gaia."

Nabu, who is still holding an unconscious Asha in his arms, snapped his fingers. The three chiefs with them fell to the ground unconscious. Gaia looked at her husband and pinched his waist that made him dotingly made a pouting face at her.

"Do you have to do that Nabu?"

"They do not need to remember what just happened. They are just sleeping so you do not need to worry my love."

Nabu kisses her cheek and smiles lovingly. Dumu, Tarik and Theo remained bowed down while looking at the three chiefs. Gaia sighs and looks at the three.

"Rise. We need to talk. Our time is limited. Hear what we need to say."

Asha's three husbands are reluctant to even look at the god and goddess in front of them when they heard another snap of fingers. Their bodies moved on their own as they all straightened their backs while still knelt on the ground. The three looks at the two, unmoving.

Gaia elbowed Nabu on his side that made his eyes roll before looking at the three beast men, "they are too scared to even stand. I am just helping their bodies move. We do not have much time."

"Still impatient as ever," Gaia looks at the three, smiling sadly. "So you three became mates with our beloved daughter?"

The three nodded. Dumu speaks.

"Our wife actually have four husbands. The fourth mate is away for a mission for our wife. We apologize for he is not here to greet your benevolence."

"That one is the fifth," Nabu replied.

Dumu, Tarik and Theo looked at each other confused. Theo looks at them questioningly and asks, "is the fox chief considered as her mate? They did not complete the mating ritual my lord."

Nabu shakes his head, "not him." He snapped his fingers again and the symbols of the Ancients appeared and glowed on each of their foreheads. Nabu pointed his finger at Dumu.
