"I really thought we lost the cart. Good thing it was there where we left it," Tarik says. He's inside the cart with Asha on his lap and Theo beside them.

It was almost morning when they reached the foot of the mountain. The rain didn't stop. It continues to pester down the land and spread this gloomy and sad atmosphere for everybody.

Asha and her group didn't rest. Dumu is now the one pulling the cart while he's on his half snake form. They have all decided that Gan and Osborne will stay at the hidden kingdom beneath the mountains of Uirago while two of their male snake beast men join their group in their new quest. Corbin joined them too since he's more familiar with places in the North.

"Is that what that thing is called? No one will even try touching it since no one knows what it is. There are no other beast men lingering around these mountains except us. If there is, they are trespassers," one of the snake beast men said.

"Even wild beasts. They will look at it but will not try to get near it because it is new to them. There are not many of them anyway around these parts of Uirago," the yellow haired snake beast man added.

"They will come. Now that the Destitute Plains is revived, everything that has gone will return," Corbin says as he adjusts the hood of his raincoat. He smiles as he glances at the cart where Asha is. The two snake beast men noticed this and looked at the cart as well. The yellow-haired one can't stop but asks as he looks back at Corbin.

"Excuse me crow chief. How should we call the goddess... I mean the female with you?"

"Guild master will do. Like how we all call her. Only her mates can call her by her name."

The white-haired snake curiously asks, "guild master... is that similar to a king or chief?"

"It is. She leads the guild that we small villages are now allied with. She united different villages of different races and merged them into one."

The two snakes were surprised.

"So the guild attacked your villages and became part of it when you lost?"

Corbin shakes his head as he smiles and explains, "she did not wage war against any of us. Hence, we all joined her and her group voluntarily, even begging for her to accept all of us."

"Why beg? Is a guild more impressive than a kingdom?" The yellow-haired asks.

"The existence of the Bridges Guild has opened our eyes, our minds and our hearts into folds you will not be able to imagine. The knowledge, the values, and the reason why the guild was created by the guild master... words are not enough to describe it. As the chief of the crows, it made me realize things that I lack as a leader. You will need to feel it so you can grasp her vision. Her mission to be the best of all beast men through hard work, unity, independence and empathy cannot be compared to other villages nor kingdoms. Even Byakko!

Byakko is still a lot bigger if we compare the Bridges Guild but I believe the guild has more united races than them. There's the capybaras, the crocodiles, the dolphins, the sharks, the bears, the elephants, and my village, the crows. The guild master has the snake beast, the wolf beast, and the lion beast that are with us right now as her mates. There is also a hawk beast but he is out for an errand. They say there is also a young owl in the guild but I have not seen him yet. And listen to this, she is not only a guild master but an alpha of the gray wolves as well. No female can be better than our guild master. I know you have a female for a chief as default when your previous chief died but no one can compare to our guild master. She is simply the best."

Corbin smirks proudly when he pounded his chest with his fist, water splashes from his raincoat as he did this, while looking at the two snakes.

"Stop it Corbin. You're making me feel more embarrassed as you go on...," Asha peeks outside the cart and everyone can see her blushing face.
