"How can we find mineral ores guild master?" Dylan asks as he studies the knife he is holding.
"These looks so good. They are hard but not that heavy. These are sturdier than wood," Danube is holding the spoons and forks. The clinging sounds of metal to metal makes a great sound as they check each item on the table.
"But how to form them in these different shapes and sizes. Are there many types of metals alpha? Is this what your weapon is made of guild master? The one you called dagger?" Zeev was studying the headdress, accessories and different kinds of blade laid on the table. His eyes were twinkling like a child brought inside a toy store.
"Fire. We will need lots of intense fire." All of them looks at Asha stunned. Asha smiles as she continues. "I wanna know every male in our guild who can manipulate fire."
Everyone went silent. Especially the new chiefs that joined the guild who look uncomfortable.
Tarik held Asha's hand.
Do you remember that beast men who can manipulate fire are considered cursed? Let me talk to them master.
Asha smiles before kissing his cheek. She nods at his blushing face.
"You all know that I am a fire manipulator. Before, I have believed that I am cursed for fire can kill. I was even reluctant to show others that I have this ability. The beast world have always thought that we bring misfortunes, that we have been branded as cursed beings. But when master taught all of us the great uses of fire in our daily lives, my fellow beast men have slowly accepted my ability. Just like wind and water, fire can also benefit us. The warmth it gives during the cold. The heat it helps food to be cooked into wonderful, tasty and safer dishes to eat. The light it emits to brighten the darkness of night... these are just some benefits that we could get from fire. So do not be afraid. Like what master said, this guild does not discriminate. Embrace and be proud of what you are and what you can do. We will help each other to bring out the best in all of us. This is why master has created this guild. To change the views of us beast men who are trapped in following the old ways and wrong views that keeps on being passed from generation to generation. We need to be open-minded and accept that some wrong beliefs we keep on believing before should be changed."
My big puppy has grown so much. I'm so proud of you.
Tarik smiles and kisses the top of Asha's head.
It is because of you master. We are not who we are today if not for you. Thank you for being part of our lives. We love you.
Dumu nods at Asha while Theo smiles at her lovingly. Asha sighs happily as she squeezed Tarik's hand. She looks at the other chiefs and speaks.
"Change starts with us. Don't be scared. We're all here to help each other out, aren't we? Whether you can manipulate water, wind or fire, I need everyone to believe in their own abilities. There's a good and bad in everything. It depends on us how we use the talent and abilities given to us."
Dumu strokes Asha's back as the four of them look at the chiefs. The silence was a bit deafening but it was comforting. Asha can see the smile on the chiefs faces as they contemplate what she and Tarik have told them. Corbin raises his hand.
"I have two in my tribe. Please guide my fellow crows to help them use their ability in a good way."
Gan and Osborn are looking at each other and nods. They both raised their hands before Gan spoke.
