When I finally calmed down, I found myself at the creek. The water was slowly moving over the bright stones in the bed and it calmed me slightly. I sat down on the crisp yellow grass and cringed at the pricks that made their way through my pants. I watched the water move along and let what Thatch had said sink in.
"...fucking hell, (Y/n)! I love you!"
I felt tears coming to my eyes as I watched a little blue stone get pushed by the undercurrent. I felt like everything was spiraling further than it was before. I had to press him just far enough to say something like that, didn't I?
I forced it out of him and then I told him no in the worst way possible.
I let out a quiet sob. The cold was sinking through my jacket as I stared, unmoving as tears fell down my cheeks. The little blue stone moved again and was pushed along until it disappeared out of sight and I stared into the distance letting my head empty. I couldn't think of any way to go back and get my stuff without being an absolute bitch.
What the hell is a 46 year old man doing confessing to an 18 year old anyway?!
I felt the anger resurge before huffing at the tears that still fell. I hated that I was even in the situation in the first place. I couldn't be blamed for having that kind of reaction, right?
This whole thing is bullshit.
I heard footsteps and jumped to my feet, not caring about the wetness on my cheeks or the undeniable frazzled appearance I held as I prepared myself to fight.
However, when I looked up I saw a shock of bright red hair and a long blond mane. I looked at them in surprise. Before I could say anything, Killer ran up to me and brought me into a hug.
"What happened, (N/n)?" His voice was soft but I could feel the anger in the way his arms shook around me in his leather jacket. "Tell me, I promise I won't do anything you don't want me to," he mumbled into my hair as he rubbed my back.
I shook my head. "It's just a bunch of bullshit," I grumbled into his chest, faintly paying attention to Kidd slowly walking closer.
"You wanna go get some drinks at ours?" Kidd suggested. "I'm not good at comforting but I do have some good booze."
I gave a small chuckle. "I honestly could use it, and y'all might want some too if you wanna hear the bullshit I'm dealing with," I joked.
Killer sighed and nodded, releasing me from his hold. Kidd immediately wrapped his arm around my shoulder and started leading me over to where he parked his truck. As soon as I hopped in the middle seat of the front, since it was a half-cab, he tossed his jacket at me.
"You're shakin' like a damn leaf, rabbit. My heater doesn't work so use that," he huffed out as he started the old Chevvy up. I layed it over myself like a blanket and leaned on Killer after he got in, half watching the street signs as he drove back to town.

"Mi casa, su casa," Kidd announced in a terrible accent as he threw the door open to the run-down looking house. "Go get comfy on the couch or somethin', I'll get the shit."
I stepped in to see a much nicer house than I expected as he made his way to the kitchen. The walls were a deep blue and the floor was scrapped hardwood that had been polished and stained varying shades of brown. The ceiling was low enough that the guys had to duck to get through the doorways but it was cozy and surprisingly clean. I followed Kama into a nice living room that was painted dark green and settled on the older, but extremely comfy, couch.
Kidd walked around from behind the couch with three bottles and three scotch glasses. He set them on the table and flopped on the couch next to me. There was a big bottle of half-drunk vodka, a nice bottle of rum, and a bottle of (f/fruit) flavored liquor. Killer settled on a leather chair next to me and they looked at me.
