chapter 34 - pool day

Komi never really enjoyed the water. Her quirk didn't work very well with water, especially her webs.
Still, when the girls of the class decided to have some fun at the school pool, who was Komi to deny them?

It was fun, having friends and having them like you. Komi felt appreciated, and it was nice feeling. She felt stupid for ever thinking that these same group of people she was currently with would ever dislike her for being her. 

Oh, yes, notice the 'people' instead of 'girls' because the entire class was here, only the boys were doing some endurance practice before the camp began. This meant Komi was a few minutes late as Shoto got the message last minute and decided to tag along.

But even though the water was watering, Komi didn't mind. Now, this is not to say Komi hated water, therefore never showered -in fact, Komi made a point to shower whenever she walked past Shoto after he was finished with training, because lord did that kid really stink.

"Wow, I'd never thought I'd ever say this, but look at literally all the boys..." Mina shook her head while toying with a little smile on her face. "Abs as far as the eye can see."

"Mina! That is not very lady-like of you." Momo nudged Mina, but Komi could see the pink tinted cheeks over her face.

But it was true. Hell, as Komi watched Iida walk over and not only pick up Mineta but also Denki before he strutted back to the rest of the boys with ease. Komi got a great view of his back, and safe to say it was a sight. Komi envied him for such a nice back, because please. One chance.

"You better!" Someone yelled and Komi turned her head.

I knew I smelt bitch...

Komi thought as her eyes landed on Bakugo.

He was yelling at Midoriya, shocker, and Kirishima was holding him back. It was Kirishima's arms that Komi first looked at, but it was then trailed down to Bakugo. Why did he have such a little waist?

Komi then realised she was staring when she glanced off to the side after seeing Shoto was staring at her and trying to follow her gaze. Komi then ignored the boys for the rest of the time until...

"Bakugo lost!" Komi called, raising her hand to make sure everyone heard her. The boys were having a go at who could swim 50 metres the fastest and Bakugo decided to use his quirk to cross over so quickly.

"No, I did not!" Bakugo's face only seemed to get anger around Komi and oh, how Komi's smile grew when she noticed. "I came first, you idiot!"

"Nuh uh."
"Fuck you mean 'Nuh uh'?!"

"Bakugo, please refrain from using such language while we represent the school. It's putting a bad reputation over your head...more-so, anyways." Iida said, nodding his head the end to get the point across.

"You didn't even touch the water." Komi shrugged as Bakugo started to walk past her.

The ash blond took one look at Komi and then eyed the water. Komi's own eyes grew wide and she tried to get out of the way, but it was too late. Bakugo had grabbed her face and shoved her into the water, making a huge splash with the force used.

The noirette first spat the water out of her mouth when she resurfaces, glared at Bakugo and smashed her hand into the water, throwing water on him.

"Bakugo! That is totally unacceptable behavo-"
Iida came over to talk some sense into Bakugo, but Komi was already 4 steps ahead of him.

Using her webs, that were minorly shit due to the water clogging the vein, Komi latched onto Bakugo's bare chest and yanked him into the water, listening to his yelp cut short. Iida was cut from his words as he darted his eyes from the water to Bakugo and then to Komi.

The girl in question just swam over to the side of the pool and gripped the side of the pool to lift herself out. "He started it."

He, in question, swam back to the top of the water, eyes flaming and eyebrows arching inhumanely. He opened his eyes to start yelling at Komi, but instead he was met with two big, round moons as Komi pulled herself out of the water.
Bakugo scoffed and turn away, grumbling a bunch of incomprehensible mumbo-jumbo.

And that was how the rest of the day went, to put it lightly. Bakugo would do something, Komi would comment and then they'd fight. Or it'd be vice versa, either way, it carried on throughout the whole of the challenge until Iida and Momo came up with the plan to kept them separated.

"Alright, the final between for the contest will now begin. Bakugo, Midoriya, Todoroki, are you guys ready?" Iida asked as he turned to the three.

"Bring everything you got, Icy-hot! I don't want another half-assed win like the sports festival!" Bakugo growled as he shot his head around to Shoto.

"I will."

"And you too, Deku! I want to beat you with everything you put against me!" Bakugo was acting like this was the end times, like there wouldn't be another way to win.

"I will, I promise!" And Midoriya matched Bakugo's enthusiasm.

When they got on the stands of the pool Iida had a whistle in his hand, and the other hand doing those choppy movements. "Then, the 50 metre freestyle final race begins on my mark!"

"Yeah Shoto! Go Midoriya!" Komi called out yelling, but she turned her voice down and held an undertone to it, as she said. "...Bakugo."

"Three!"
Bakugo glared and Komi, but there wasn't much he could do if he wanted to win.

"Two!"
A few of the others started placing bets, but Komi seemed to be only one to notice the door opening.

"One!"

Uh oh.

Just as all the boys jumped off to get a start, they flopped down badly into the pool water, making a massive splash. Aizawa walked forward, eyes red and hair up and floating as he used his quirk to get rid of everyone's quirks.

"It's 5pm." He started, making his presence known and therefore making not only Komi stand up straight, but Iida too. "Your authorized pool time is now over. Hurry up and go home."

Komi started walking over to her bag, but she slowly came to a stop as she realized she was the only one. Save Shoto, who was getting out of the water and drying himself quickly over he would start moving over to his stuff.

"Come one! Just one second!" Denki tried to plead.

Komi furrowed her eyebrows for just one second, as he told the class what to do. And he, being Aizawa, Mr. Aizawa, he had some authoritary figure over the class, so Komi instantly went to do what he asked -as did Shoto. What made it so difficult for the rest of the class to follow the instruction? Th- oh...Endeavour, yeah, that makes sense.

"We're finally getting to the good part!" Sero also tried to reason.

"Are you questioning me?"
And Komi grabbed her towel and bag and even grabbed Shoto's bag along the way so she could get out and go back to the Todoroki house.

I just want to say a few things, but first I just want to ask if you guys would like the movies and OVA's included in the book? I know I think I missed about one or two OVA's already, but the 1st mha movie is set around this arc and I half wrote something, and I was just wondering if you'd guys would be interested in that?

Secondly, I just want to let everyone know that the love from the comments if AMAZING and I love replying to you guys and seeing your input, you guys seriously make me giggle sometimes and you bring a smile to my day
