And after a grueling 10 hour long flight where Komi had to sleep in the worst position possible, the plane had finally landed and now everyone was getting off. Due to being on the other end of the plane, Komi was one of the last people to get off, although she was talking to Jiro, so she thankfully wasn't alone.
Jiro, however, was looking over her shoulder every few seconds, waiting to see how far away everyone was, as if she had something to say, but was waiting for the right moment. Komi tried to pretend not to notice, but after a while, that got a little difficult as every 3 seconds, Jiro broke eye contact to glance over her shoulder.
"But the...okay," Komi glanced over her shoulder, just in case there was something going on she didn't know about. Although nothing was there expect for the class. "What are we looking at?"
"Waiting for them to leave." Jiro answered, then started making a prolonged noise that was rounding near the end. "Anndddd, yeah, there far away enough."
Jiro then cleared her throat. "What the hell happened last night? Why were you with Bakugo for so long?"
"What do you mean, we both had to go to the bathroom?" Komi answered, tilting her head slightly. She didn't understand why that was so strange.
"You guys just went to the bathroom...nothing else?" Jiro was clearly hinting or at least suggesting something here...Komi was just soo half asleep to understand it.
Komi blinked a few times, trying to get a smidge of what Jiro was hinting at, but it was all flying right over her head.
Jiro sighed, a small smile appearing on her face as she started to speak in a lower tone. "Komi, it's okay, I know."
"...You know, what?" Komi was speaking at a normal range, not whispering like how Jiro was.
Jiro then glanced over Komi's shoulder once more and then grabbed her shoulder, pulling her in slightly. "That you and Bakugo...are, you know...?"
Komi did not, in fact, know.
"Dating." Jiro finally let out.
Hmm...dating....da-ting....dating....
It was like Komi was slowly turning the gears in her mind to what Jiro had asked her. She blinked. "Dating...."
She said once, needing to verbally repeat what Jiro had asked. Jiro, in question, had let go of Komi and backed up once, one eye brow raising in Komi's suddenly aloof stance.
"WOAH!"
And that was how it started.
From the aisle of the plane, to the outside where the class had to walk into the airport and all the way to the luggage collection, Komi started to rant on about how she and Bakugo were not dating, and just because they went to the bathroom together -AND DID NOTHING!- that does not therefore stand that there was anything to raise an eyebrow at. They were friends. Simply and sweetly. There was no if, or buts or maybes. They friends...
"I mean, how could you even think that?" Komi shook her head, staring ahead at the convayer belt as it showed suitcase after suitcase.
Jiro scoffed, twirling on her feet to look at Komi. "Are you kiddin'? Oh god, where do I even begin?"
Komi was about to defend herself or at least give Jiro a look, however, the girl saw her suitcase and rushed over to get it before it rolled away. So, Komi was left alone to wait for Jiro's words while her mind went a mile of minute in what she could say. Komi thought about times were similiar situations occured and Komi was planning on what she was going to say if Jiro were to bring them up.
A pre-planning of words she wanted to say instead of waiting 4 hours to come up with the perfect words in something that has passed.
Then, Jiro came slightly jogging back over with her suitcase in tow. "It's just that you guys spend so much time together, and you're both really comfortable with each other."
