Aizawa had been talking to the man at the desk for at least 40 minutes now. He didn't look too happy either, and the whole class was actually very invested in what was going on.
Today was the last day of the Internation Trip, and so everyone was at the airport waiting for the flight back home. Only that plane is set to take off in five minutes, and Aizawa didn't have that same happy little look he usually never has in his eyes anymore.
There was a body that just came down next to her, and Komi glanced at Shoto as he took his seat.
"Do you think something is wrong?"
He meant via Komi's quirk kinda wrong. The girl sat still for a moment, but the nice and chilly feeling she was getting was only from the crazy air-conditioning that was set in sub-zero.
"No." Komi shook her head as she sighed. "Nothing like that, although..."
Glancing behind her, looking at the thunderstorm outside, the girl had an idea on what was wrong.
By the sound of footsteps, Komi could link them back to Aizawa and when she turned to face the front again, she was right.
Aizawa had walked back over with a less than happy expression on his face.
"The plane's been delayed. The weather outside is too much of a risk to take, so the flight's cancelled for the next 5 hours until it clears up."
"Five hours?!" Denki exclaimed before flopping and sinking into a chair as he groaned.
Aizawa nodded his head once but raised his hand to the class. "I know this isn't ideal, but as an apology the airport's given us a free meal fro-"
Denki suddenly shot back to life. "You know what? Hell yeah!"
And if Aizawa was allowed to finish his sentence, Denki and the rest of the class would know that the free meal could come from anywhere within the airport. But with Denki jumping to his feet, he grabbed the closest two people to him and ran off, hyping up everyone else to follow him.
He ran to the next restaurant he could find, and with the rest of the class tailing behind him, Aizawa watched the next future of heroes walk off without even hearing the end of his sentence. However, not even Aizawa could refuse the option of free food, so he too followed -half to make sure no one order any alcohol and half to get some good grub, for free, so hell yeah.
And after order the biggest thing they could, conversation drifted around the table, but there was one topic that slowly started to pop up in every single one: That school dance formal thing Aizawa briefly mention a few moons ago.
"Hey sir," Tsu start, finger to her chin like it always was. "Do you have any more information about that dance coming up."
Aizawa looked confused for a moment, but then gathered what the girl was talking about quickly enough. Most of everyone else had turned their heads, putting a pause on their own conversations to get a lick of this one.
"From what I know, the date is set for the 4th of December. And, like what was promised, I've arranged for the whole class to find and buy formal attire in a few weeks." Aizawa explained. "As for the event itself, there are a set of rules that each of you are expected to abide by."
ANDDD, by this point, half the class had opted out of listening. Not Komi though, she listened to the very easy to guess set of rules. Things like so illegal substances, no unknown guests, etc.
Aizawa was wrapping up on the rules for the formal and was about to go on about the rules for when everyone went out to find their dress or suit.
"Hey, Komi." The noirette felt a nudge against her arm, and she turned to see Jiro looking at her. "What kind of dress are you thinking of?"
Komi raised her eyebrows a little bit and breathed out with a small laugh. "Oh, I think I'll just take one of Fuyumi's old dresses.... She's Shoto's older sister."
