What neither Bakugo nor Komi even considered was the wider range of people who may see the video posted on Komi's Instagram. And the repost on Bakugo's story and the same pressed-face photo on his own post.
Of course, neither thought that after Shoto there might be a bigger problem.
"Hey man..." Komi tried to smile to Endeavour.
He literally didn't do anything.
Except...
He acknowledged Midoriya with an average hello, and to Shoto he tried to start up a conversation that was only shut down within an instant.
Then he looked to Komi and they narrowed his eyes at Bakugo. And he didn't do anything.
Komi did not know how to react.
How would she? This man, deciding to be be the slightly immature and 'fatherly' figure? And now when he clearly, and I mean clearlyyyyy knows that the two are dating, he starts to give them side-eyes? What are you, twelve?
Going back to the Work Studies should've been a thought-out plan in Komi's mind. A really well thought out one. However, she completely forget the man Endeavour was trying to be now, so it slipped her mind.
However, this was not how she would picture it.
Endeavour watched on the fence as the early morning hours turned into mid-afternoon. He hadn't been called out for any hero-work yet, and at the end of the day, there was meeting to be had with the police commissioner, so he had to stay on sight at his agency or within the 4 block radius.
So, he was inside the gym of his building, watching his Interns work away on their skills.
His arms were crossed in a way that felt fitting to him, and he could barely strain his eyes away from his daughter and that bloody boy.
Well, he thought she was his daughter. In terms of law, she was, but in the manner of speaking Enji wasn't yet sure what would define them.
But in terms of law, that was his daughter.
And it was his daughter with a boy.
If it were any other boy, it might've been fine. But it wasn't any other boy at all, it was fucking Katsuki Bakugo.
That aggressive boy with a heedless attitude and a foul mouth and piss-sour look on his face of a morning and a mind of his own and a careless, abrupt and self-centered way of thinking kind of boy.... Dating Komi.
He had seen the video of course. Endeavour was following all his children -though Natsuo kept on blocking him, and Shoto doesn't post a thing aside from the accidental story a few months ago of a half eaten bowl of soba with a Nicki Minaj song in the background. Accidental my ass, Enji thought, but he wouldn't investigate further on the context that was clearly needed for it.
Circling back to the point, Enji Todoroki had seen the video posted on public, witnessed by millions and commented on by hundreds of thousands of the video of his daughter and that fiend kissing each other.
And he wasn't sure what to do about it yet.
He wasn't in the right of way to out-rightly deny they see each other, because even Endeavour knew that that was just something that was never going to happen.
And you know what? Sure, Endeavour was the one to tell Bakugo to tell Komi out, but did the man have any confidence that it would actually happen? No.
Full, straight no.
And now he stood, with his arms crossed and his fire-beard glowing a wee bit lighter than necessary as it was clearly evident that they did go to that damn dance together.
He crossed his arms tighter, like maybe the motion would ground him. It didn't.
Endeavour didn't move again, instead his stone-cut gaze was kept on Komi and Bakugo. Yes, Midoriya was currently being untangled by three pro-heroes who were having trouble with getting him unstuck, but Endeavour was looking at the bigger picture here.
