Everything pretty much hurt like a bitch. Her head all the way down to her feet, Komi felt like every inch of her body had been simultaneously hit with a sledgehammer and every time it progressively got heavier and more aggressive.

But the pain was somewhat comforting knowing that it was a sign she was alive. Alive and breathing. And as long as she was still breathing she was fine. Still, Komi hurt.

She didn't want to move too much. As she already knew where she was. Her heart was already beating like crazy and she just woke up. She also felt cold, but she felt like she was lying on a wooden floor that smelt of mold and dust so there was no big surprise there.

The cold feeling in the back of her neck had never left her either. Not when she was sleeping and not when she woke up. It was just cold and alarmed and right now, that was all Komi felt; cold and alarmed.

According to the call that the Wild Wild Pussy Cats gave out, the villains only wanted Bakugo. He was their target, not Komi. And considering the fact Komi only narrowly dodged a few of their lethal attacks, she couldn't sat for sure that they wanted to keep her alive. Komi almost sat straight up at the thought of Bakugo, but she didn't want to alert any of the villains that might be lingering around, possibly waiting for her to get up. So Komi did her best to lie as still as possible, just in case there was someone unwanted in the room. She tried to be quiet too, maybe if she listened hard enough, she could tell if someone was in the room. And Komi was –not happy, but somewhat glad she waited to check if someone else was in the room- because there 100% was.

Slowly, but surely, there was someone tapping their foot on the ground and the every so faint noise of music coming from what Komi guessed was some ear plugs. Music sounded uplifting and 'fun' to say the least, but in this moment, Komi felt anything but uplifted and fun.

Ever so slightly, Komi felt the great urge to just move. Her feet, legs, hand and arms all felt dead and under-stretched. So, figuring out which eye was lying closest to the ground, Komi carefully pried her eye open.

The room, as she guessed it, looked like a slum. It was dirty, felt dirty, looked dirty and smelt dirty. There was mold growing on just about everything, so the girl was overjoyed to be breathing all that in.

One of her hands were sealed from view, so she flexed it, making sure it was still in somewhat working order. Her heart beat faster as she moved –although it was miniscule and barely noticeable, Komi was still in the...in the lair of some villains.

Villains that infiltrated UA within the first week of school. Villains that were very possibily linked to Stain and the attack in Hosu. Villains that could be linked to those letters Komi got. Villains that were skilled, and clearly had nothing to lose by the state of this place she was in.

Komi couldn't afford to act recklessly. Bakugo was also here. Somewhere, maybe in this room, maybe in another. Komi just didn't know, so she didn't wake up and start punching.

Komi went to slowly flex her leg, but something felt wrong. Something felt...off? Maybe that was the way to put it.
It felt like there was something on her leg...no, something sticking into her leg –like a sharp little tool of some kind. And it almost felt as if it was tak-

Komi couldn't help it but jump when she pieced it together. Someone was taking her blood right from her, and Komi couldn't pretend to be calm anymore. Her heart was pounding like drums in a marching band, like any moment might be her last –because it could be. Komi could be taking her last breath and she'd never know it.

So Komi jumped into the air, twisting, turning and very rapidly fighting to get off the ground, to get the thing that was taking her blood away from her, to wake up, to fight. Komi couldn't lay down and pretend not to be awake. These were villains, she was wrong when she thought to pretend. Komi couldn't pretend, she had to act, she had to do.
