chapter 66 - eau du parfume

 New York and California.

Those were the chosen destinations for the UA International Trip. First, there would be a week in California and then 4 days in New York before heading back. Iida and Momo planned the whole trip, along with what the teachers had guided and added in themselves. Of course, it was meant to be educational...

"Viva la America!" Mina was failing English, but the spirit was still there as she spoke it. With her outfit already chosen, she looked like she just stepped out of a fashion magazine for today's top trends.

"My fellow peers! The school bus will arrive shortly to take us directly to the airport! From them, we'll wait for the plane and then be on our way. This won't be your only reminder, but the plane will be aproximately 10 hours, so please, be sure to wear the appropiate attire." Iida's voice rung out as he chopped his arm up in the air.

Of course, this was all music to Komi's ears. Comfy clothes were heavenly. So, she wore Shoto's old polo shirt with that fun little jockey player on it, and then just some grey sweatpants. Fashion icon or not, grey sweatpants were the best thing ever made.
So, compared to Mina, Komi looked like the junky out the front of the petrol station on a flimsy highway.

"The bus arrives in 20 minutes, please be sure you have everything!" Momo also added, and everyone quickly made sure they had everything with them.

For a moment, Denki looked all around him, making sure he had his stuff...of course, this meant that he ran back up stairs to his room to get his suitcase and to also put on a shirt.
Komi's suitcase was probably the average size compared to those in the class. Mina and Momo were completely packed, but surprisingly, it was Mineta who had so much stuff. Border security was going to be fun...

And when the time came, Komi was right about it, because Mineta was stopped for 30 minutes. 15 minutes into his stop, most of the class ditched to look around the airport...that most of the class also included Komi.
She traveled with Shoto, as it was just them two and the two class reps left with wait for the little classmate. So, they both ditched.

Eyeing a certain shop, Komi then saw gold and grabbed her brother's shoulder, dragging him inside instantly.

A scent shop, or whatever fancy means they call it. Komi had been thinking of forcing Shoto to get something to make him stink a little less so her headaches would stop, and now was the perfect oppertunity.
However, to not hurt his feelings, Komi had to give a little white lie.

"I've been thinking of..." Komi reached out and grabbed the first thing she saw. "This....Maybe you could look around and find something you like. Like a colonel for something."

And it was as easy as that...Until Shoto left, and Komi glanced at what she picked up. And for some reason, this Tom Ford guy was asking a lot for just a 30ml bottle of something called 'Lost Cherry.'
Komi scoffed, setting it down and looked for something a little more in her price range. Like something that wasn't half her savings.

After a quick look around the store and avoiding the sales people who want Komi to buy the most exspensive thing they own, Komi just found an interesting shaped body of a woman. Or rather the top half of a woman that was gold. It was a Eilish Eau du Parfume, and smelt nice enough. The little one was pricy, but it was worth it.

Then, after Komi got it and recived the smallest bag ever to hold it in, she found Shoto with Midoriya looking across the Yves Saint section. Midoriya was just putting down a bottle he found that was way out of his price range, and Shoto was picking up and even more expensive one.

"You gonna buy anything?" That wasn't a question Komi asked. Even though it sounded like one, it was a demand. Shoto was going to buy something from here so her nose wouldn't suffer.
