Komi didn't dream very much.
At least, when she woke, she often forget them very easily, and truth be told, it wasn't like they were very important to her.
However, when she woke today, she woke with a sense of urgency.
But why?
She nearly catapulted out of her hanging bed, and she felt sweat growing on her forehead. Her voice was gasping and worst of all, she had no idea why.
Her neck was not cold, and darting her eyes around her dorm room, there wasn't a thing out of place.
"...Okay..." Komi muttered, scratching the back of her neck as she climbed down off her bed. Once again, she did a full check around her room, but there was nothing out of the ordinary aside from that prickly cold feeling in the back of Komi's neck.
Komi's hand went to her heart, as if she were protecting it as she felt it's rapid beating. Thing was, she didn't know why it was beating rapidly. Was it from her dream?
...What the hell was she dreaming about then, damn?! A nightmare or something, jeez.
Komi shook the feeling off.
Today was a new day, and it had no needs for a bad start.
It was still early morning, where the sun was just breaking over the horizon and the birds were singing their soft songs through the trees. Komi rubbed the sleep from her eyes, and yawned and stretched and maybe possibly, perchance scratched her butt on her way over to the door.
By the time she got down to the common room, very few were up with her. Jiro and Mina were both eating the same breakfast by the window and Momo was brewing some tea.
Komi walked in, barefoot and quiet footsteps as she made her way over to pantry to grab leftovers from last night to heat up. As she waited for the microwave to beep, Shoto walked in sleepily and sat down.
Once the food was done, Komi nibbled a little bit as she moved over to seat next to her brother who surprising started a conversation instantly.
"I had a weird dream about you." Shoto said, stealing from Komi's food.
"Oh?" Komi raised and eyebrow in curiosity, letting him take the food.
He nodded his head. "I was a kid again, back at home."
Ah, yes, the Todoroki Family Mansion.
"You were reaching out to me."
Komi twisted her face up. "Did I say anything."
Shoto shook his head.
"Huh, weird." Komi took the rest of her food before Shoto was able to steal it again.
As movement was made near the hallway, Komi glanced over quickly to see Sero dragging Denki in. The latter was deadbeat tired, but complaining about being hungry and Sero had an annoyed early morning look on his face.
"You know," Komi clicked her finger and pointed to her head. "I'm thinking of cutting my hair."
Shoto nodded his head. "To what?"
For a brief moment, Komi glanced around the room, finding that her eyes lingered on Mina and Jiro's head. Their hair. They -including Uraraka, would never complain about their hair getting in the way of training.
"Don't know yet...." She did.
Huffing out in front of the mirror, Komi decided to just get it over with. One quick chop from the scissors, and a strand or two from her long hair fell to the ground.
And then Komi waited. She was waiting for a moment of feeling something, but nothing came. Th side of her hair was chopped up to her chin, while the rest fell to her elbows.
