Asami wasn't the UA traitor.
But she wasn't it's most trusted student, either.
The man who had given her father a quirk all those years ago had come back ever since she got into UA, and he's been demeaning information in exchange for his own, and so that they may keep their lives.
So Asami learnt pretty quickly that the reason her grandfather died when she was just a baby was because of that Busu's mother having a tantrum. And when their house got robbed when they were little, Asami remembered seeing all the strange quirks that had developed psychically, and she remembered the way her father spoke about them. About Heteromorphs.
And then there was Kuyami Shizuki. Whatever add-ons she wanted to include in her name was just a bunch of dandy-fairy puff. She could pretend to be a Todoroki all she wanted, but her skin, her hands, her eyes and her hair should forever be a haunting memory that she's not one of them.
She doesn't deserve them. She doesn't deserve the opportunities she been given.
Working under-cover at an illegal night club? Whatever the hell happened on that mountain trip after the International Crossover? She was having run-ins with villains and just glazing herself over at any given time she could. Asami could see through it. Asami knew that Kuyami Busu Bitch was just another dumb girl who got everything they wanted in life.
And it pissed Asami off.
She deserves those things! Not some fang-tooth over grown spider with insecurities for decades! There was no way she got into 1A based on skill. She was sure that she bribed someone somehow.
Asami already tired spreading a rumor that Busu was real friendly with the principal and that's how she got in to the class, but that Rat just put her in after school detention for a month.
But Asami was sure that there was money involved, because Busu wasn't good at anything.
And it pissed Asami off.
And then it pissed her off more so.
There's no way, Komi thought as she raced around the grounds, searching for her purple haired friend. At a time when Jiro is needed most, of course it was simply comical that Komi was remained to be unable to find her.
But there was no way.
Komi couldn't possibly love Bakugo now. They had been for together for just shy of a month, not even that yet. And sure, Komi hope and plans to love Bakugo one day, but right now? That's impossible, isn't it? It was crush, and then it grew and it stayed and now they're dating.... how the hell could Komi simply love someone that fast?
I still don't even know how I grew to even like Bakugo, let alone fall in love with him. Komi thought as she kept her eyes peeled for purple hair.
"Wh-t?!"
There were skid marks on the floor from how fast Komi stopped. She froze, only for a moment, before realising that Midoriya doesn't have the quirk to hear thoughts, so she turned around to him innocently.
"Oh hey, Midoriya. What? I don't know what you're talking about...."
Komi's words were forced, panicked and said quickly, almost muffling into one another.
But Midoriya's face remained open, shocked and his jaw was dropped to the very ground. "You're in love with Kacchan?!"
Komi's breath was taken from her chest.
And then she socked Midoriya in the face.
In slow motion, Midoriya was hit with a fist stronger than All Might in raw strength, and compacted with an undefined outburst of feeling that erupted within the girl. Midoriya's face spun around first, the rest of his body limply following in a mindlessly numb fashion as his arms flopped with the velocity of the turn. Spit flew out of his mouth like it was a scene from a movie, and before he knew it, he was flat on the floor in the Peter Griffin style.
