The next day was originally set as a relaxion day. There was three of them during the whole of the trip. Two in California and one in New York. The ones set in California was just meant to be a day where the students were able to do whatever so they please. And as it be that today was one of them, Komi took it upon herself to go shopping for clothes, for the first time ever.

She also needed to, given that all her belonging were burnt the night prior by Asami. Komi didn't tell anyone what happened, as the little plan she was hatching herself would need Asami still enrolled in the school, although, if push comes to shove, everything Asami's done up until now was good enough for expulsion.

But more on that later, for today, was a shopping day, and it was Komi's first, so come along.

Now, ever since Komi had gotten a job, and then very quickly had to leave given she was kidnapped and then blind, then put into a boarding school where there was no time for casual work, Komi had earned money.
She was saving up for a phone, but now that she had one, she had a bunch of money left over. The noirette knows exactly what she wanted to spend her money on, however, she has to wait a while as Christmas is a while away, and gold bars aren't easily given out.

But, yesterday afternoon, when Komi was trying on all those swimsuit, that little black one was the very first outfit she's ever bought, peridot. And it didn't come from goodwill or from a hand-me-down moment. It was fresh, it was new, and it was hers.

Thankfully, the pink dress Komi wore out for dinner was okay, so she just wore that to go shopping. But Komi needed a whole ass new wardrobe, and since word had gotten out from Mina, the entire class was going along to do some shopping themselves.

And another thankfully part of the day was the fact that Komi wasn't going to be spending a single cent. It was Endeavour who foolishly gave his son a credit card -and even gave Komi one as well. He told them both there was a $2000 American Dollar limit. But, Shoto was smart enough to grab what Komi believed was either card No.19 or card No. 4. Either way, it was one of Enji's American Express cards which he used when he went overseas. Meaning, Komi could probably spend a million dollars today and not put a dent in her own saving.
Maybe there are perks to being a nepo baby.

So, for the first 3 hours of the day, Komi was dragged around through her friends as she went into store after store. Her arms only got more and more full ass shopping bags appeared in them, and soon enough, Komi ended up looking like she was in a slow motion montage of a shopping scene in a movie. With all sorts of little bags, big bags and the perfect pink bags, Komi would've almost looked the part.

"I don't think I can walk anymore." Komi let out a loud sigh as she flopped down on the chair in the massive food court.
And even massive food court was an understatement, America really did like their McDonald's, didn't they?

Momo pouted as the news came to her. "But we haven't even gotten you any accessories. A girl needs her accessories, it can make or break an outfit Komi, always remember that."

"I don't think a bracelet will make a difference." Komi sighed, stopping her slouching and bringing her back straighter.

"Actually, I have to side with Momo on this on." Jiro said, and the rest of the girls nodded their head with her. Komi sighed and allowed her head to fall into her arms that were resting on the table.

"I need food first." Komi bargained, but thankfully, it was just about lunchtime and everyone else was feeling hungry as well.

Collecting food from the food court, the cuisine accounted for a few different cultures. Mexican, American, and even some homesick peers that were getting some Japanese. Komi tried some Portuguese food, and really like the chilli chips they offered.
Although, given the food court was probably the size of a small chicken farm and just as chaotic, Komi had some issue with finding her class once again.
