10K + 20K + 30K special!!!
Despite the heat of the moment, and the fact that a well-known and highly wanted Villain had come knocking on the doorstep of the Todoroki house, there was no stopping Komi on this mini vacation to the I-Island Opening Expo.
With her little suitcase with wheels, Komi stood in awe of the airport. For some reason, this place just didn't feel real. Like it was a weird building of some kind. The thought of air-travel was already something insane, but then airports, where millions of people come through each day, with so much knowledge and so many life's of their own, all packed into one little space was interesting to Komi.
And almost as always, the outfits at the airports are stunning. Everyone is always wearing something comfy, but stylish at the same time. Which was why Komi knew that she had to plan ahead. And there was no way she was planning out coming in a pair -so, she got Shoto into her ruse as well.
And here they were, walking through the airport in high-end fashion (or as high end as her wardrobe went). Shoto was wearing a beige tight fitting retro knitted shirt that had short sleeves and he paired it a pair of dark pin-pants and white joggers. Komi had a pair of Fuyumi's old lounge wear, but Komi had seriously lacked the sizing.
She was wearing a baby pink pair of leggings with uggs and fluffy white socks with a matching baby pink jacket and a white undershirt.
And with all that money Endeavour had stacked up over time, along with a growing dislikement that Komi had for him, the first class tickets spent on his behalf was rather nice. The entire trip had been paid for, and Shoto had been given debit card number 14, so there was no telling what Komi was going to get up to.
"Hey Shoto," Komi grabbed his shoulder and shook it to get his attention. "Did you know that I-Island has over 20,000 scientists living there?"
"Hey, Shoto, look at this..."
"Hey, Shoto, do you think they'll mark me at the immigration centre? There isn't actually any records of where I was born."
"Shoto, hey, do you know that the island is mobile? It's also got the security equivalent to Tartarus Prison and there has only be a number of 20 crimes ever committed, most are just shop-lifting, isn't that neat?"
"Shoto, did you...are you sleeping?...okay...."
And upon arriving at the Island, Komi was so entrapped in everything she saw, she had easily wasted 3 hours just looking around with Shoto. But, eventually, they got themselves to the hotel room they were bunking together in, and they got dressed into their hero costumes, momentarily fighting over who would use the bathroom first.
But, once that was settled, and they were both all dressed up in their hero costumes, they walked the streets, pointing to heroes they could recognise.
And as she walked, she took the time to look at her hero costume. Compared to others it was...dull. And it wasn't very fitting to her quirk.
Endeavour had designed it, and at the time, Komi had no argument to start with him about that, but now, she wished she did say something. Her feet felt swished, and it was starting to get too small on her. Shoto was right when he said that she was getting taller, and it was showing.
Even if she liked her costume, she would end up needing a new one anyway -this one was getting too small and cramped for her.
She ought to get a new hero costume some time then, something to note down for later...
Anyways, while walking around and seeing more of the attractions, Shoto found something he'd like to participate in. It was a villain battle competition to just beat up and exterminate he crap out of some old robots.
