2:55pm, the bloodletting begins.
The irony of running into a villain right when the rest of the class had awoken from the gas sleep was at a level of comedy Komi wasn't yet ready to accept. Slightly because Komi was mid-attack with the random villain group of 4 that literally just spawned from the trees.
Although Komi told her group where Midaya Camp was, so they could find the safe ground if need be, the girl didn't actually think it would be needed. Again, with the sweet ignorant bliss.
Bakugo -of course- was going off his biscuit on the villains, blowing up the forest. And no matter how many times Komi tried to yell at him to stop, worried that the noise will attract more villains.
"Bakugo-!" She fully dropped to the floor, avoiding a falling branch. "Dud- Woah!" She then jumped and curled into a ball as said branch turned into a crocodile and started chomping towards her. "Bakugo! Sto-" Then, the girl had to catch Sero reach quick as he was thrown away from a villain.
"Thanks!" Sero yelled as Komi let him loose and he went right back into action.
"Bakugo! Oh, forget it." Komi scoffed, realising that this wasn't actually her problem...oh fuck, yes it was, if he brought over more villains, that would create a very, very big problem.
Then, there was a shift in the air that Komi did not expect. Despite Bakugo still letting loose on the explosions, letting the nitroglycerin sweat that oddly smelt like banana's fill the air mixed with an overpowering odor of smoke, and just general ass. Despite Mina and Uraraka practicing an 'acid rain' movement on the villains and despite the utter alarm of the area, Komi was no longer cold.
Wildly, the girl turned to every dark corner of the forest, searching for the Nomu that was pretending to be her mother. With her stiff shoulder pulled back and her fists ready to be used as weapons, Komi searched. But there was no Nomu hiding in the dark of where she could not see, nor was there any sight of her where Komi could see.
With slightly shallow breaths, Komi forced on herself to remember that she didn't have time for this now. She can hurt later, she could afford to then. She had to be strong now, no if, buts, or any ors. Strength was the only thing going for her, and it didn't matter that her muscles were aching, she had to push past that.
And as Bakugo's explosions finally stopped the-...hang on..
There was still the scent of smoke, ass and a hint of chemical-grade banana in the air, and it wasn't leaving, rather it was getting stronger. Komi was confused as Bakugo wasn't using his quirk, but the smell persisted.
With a furrowed set of eyebrows, Komi glanced over her shoulder, her face lighting up with the accents of one of Bakugo's explosions. The girl waited for the sound of it to hit her ears.
But the explosions were going on, and Komi still couldn't hear a thing.
She could not hear a single thing. She couldn't feel the danger in the back of her neck and now she couldn't hear?
Without a doubt, this was the work of a quirk.
Komi would've shouted something. Actually, she tried to, but her mouth suddenly felt sewn together in a bind that not even her 'strength' could pull apart. It was like her lips were sealed and there wasn't even any vocal chords to stretch and use so she could talk.
Komi was losing her sense faster then she could count and she did not like it at all.
The next one? Komi not long smelt the banana chemical mixture with smoke in the air anymore. She presumed it was also the work of a quirk, but even as she started moving very far in all different direction, the range option was not the issue. Komi still couldn't hear nor smell nor speak and now her heart was spiking. She couldn't sense any fear, so she bumped into a villain nearly instantly.
