"We need to talk."
"Fuck!"
Komi jumped back in fright once Bakugo spoke from the very pits of darkness in her room. He just had to be Bakugo, didn't he?
After getting her heartbeat back to a normal pace, Komi took a double take on Bakugo.
"What the hell are you in here? Get out!" Komi swung open the door, but instead of walking to the door, Bakugo stayed where he was.
"The fuck convinced you to run after a villain without telling anyone?" Bakugo had his arms crossed and he looked like he was settled in, around the piles of half broken boxes Komi was still yet to throw out.
Komi bit Gang Orca today, and he was a hero. So, she wasn't sure what she'd do to Bakugo. And right now, the last person she needs to resent her, is him.
"I didn't know she was a villain." Komi answered, still persistent. "Now out."
"I don't buy that." Bakugo shrugged. "I've known you long enough to know you're not stupid, webs, you knew something was up with her."
Komi let out a sigh, if Bakugo wanted to do this, then fine. Komi had no patience, no stoicism left in her to pretend anymore. She had cracked a long time ago and her composure had weakness without a doubt.
Besides, it was just Bakugo. Komi seemed to be able to have the ability to talk to him like they've known each other forever. He was easy to talk to, somehow...
"What's up with you wanting to fight Midoriya in the middle of the night, then? What's that about?" Komi retorted, answering his question with another question.
Bakugo closed his mouth and turned away. "That's not your business."
"Oh, but my stuff is yours?"
"That's different!"
Komi slammed the door shut, moving past Bakugo and going towards her window where she opened the door a little bit to let in a little air. This was also so that Bakugo -and Komi wouldn't start yelling at each other since people could wake up and hear them. It would be mortifying if someone walked into Komi's room wondering what the racket was, and it was just her and Bakugo dishing it out on one another.
"Why are you in here, Bakugo?" Komi asked, looking to the boy with her arms crossed and a safe distance away from him.
"Have you even checked your phone?" Bakugo grumbled after a second.
For a moment, Komi was confused. Bakugo, recently, has been speaking in tongues to Komi. Or at least he had to be. His tone and attitude contradicted what his actions said about him. It was annoying as it was confusing, and it was incredibly confusing.
Scoffing, because how else was she meant to be Bakugo out of her room, Komi dug into her school pockets, digging around for her phone. However, it wasn't in her jacket pocket, nor her skirt and not in the tiny little pocket on the blouse either.
Komi was used to having a phone, so she wasn't used to making sure it was on her all the time. The last time she remembered using it was...actually, she forgot.
"I don't know where it is, just come back tomorrow and badger me then." Komi shrugged, gesturing for him to boot it out the door.
Bakugo shoved his own hand into his pocket, and Komi was surprised on how the pocket didn't break from the force Bakugo put on it. They must've used steel to line his pockets and clothing instead of normal thread. His parents were fashion designers, weren't they?
"Fucking useless." Bakugo scoffed, however Komi couldn't bring herself to believe him since he was standing here, in the room with her.
If there was one thing Komi had learn since coming to UA, it was that she was not useless. She brought a lot of bad luck and she messes up a lot, but she was not useless. And if she's learnt anything from Bakugo as well, he doesn't spend time with people he thinks are useless. 'Extras' he calls them, but Komi has never been placed under that label.
