Standing with my hands folded, I watched as the truck drove away, leaving CJ and me on the road again.
"Fucking bastards," CJ said.
I heaved a sigh, feeling very unfortunate.
"We have to wait for another ride," he said, looking to his left.
I scoffed, "yeah right," I muttered, walking towards my right.
"Hey, where are you going?"
I kept walking, ignoring his question.
"Rose,"
I rolled my eyes, ignoring him as I walked.
"Hey," he grabbed my hand.
With an impulse, I pushed his chest, making him fall back.
"Stop touching me, you freak!"
"What is it with you? Why are you upset?"
I scoffed, pointing at the way the truck took.
"That was our only fastest and least stressful chance to get to your so-called paternal grandparents' place."
He scoffed.
"You just had to bring out your violent side." I said, walking away.
"Well, our so-called only fast and less stressful chance was filled with perverts, remember?" He asked, following me behind.
I scoffed.
"Do you prefer we remain with them?"
I stopped on my track and turned to him. "What do you care, huh?"
His face twitched.
"What is it with you, CJ? Why are you showing fake care to me?"
He furrowed his brows. "Fake care?"
"Yes. You are faking it. You and I know that you are faking it. You don't care about me. Why don't you just buzz off and leave me the hell alone?!"
He stared at me silently.
"Ugh!" I groaned, walking away.
"Rose,"
I let out a frustrated breath as I kept walking ahead.
I sensed him following me.
"Rose,"
Relentless maniac.
"Why are you upset?"
I gave no response.
"Fine. I am sorry. Okay?"
I scoffed, still walking ahead.
Time went by, and we were still walking without seeing a ride drive by. It is even getting dark.
My legs ache badly.
This is torture.
I am walking ahead, and he is following me behind.
Great. He is sensitive enough to know that I don't want him close to me.
I seriously can't stand him.
I can't believe this is happening to me. I just wish I had stayed behind like Joey did. I would be in my room by now, putting up with my mother.
I prefer her to this demon with me.
I can't even believe I am going to his paternal grandparents' place.
Oh gosh. Wait a second.
He said paternal. That means his father's parents.
