"Is there a problem?" I asked, regretting it instantly.

"No. I mean yes." He said, making me furrow my brows.

"I uh.....I have to go," he said.

"What the...."

"I know. I am sorry, but I have somewhere important to be," he said.

I scoffed. "Seriously? I told you I could do this project myself."

"I don't...."

"You should have let me do it myself. Why make me wait back after school when you know you will leave when that so-called 'somewhere important to be' pops up?"

"I am sorry, okay?"

I scoffed, closed my notebook and began putting it in my bag.

"Look, I totally forgot about it...."

I got on my feet, shutting him up as I was about to walk away, but he blocked my way.

"Why are you so upset?" He asked, looking at me with those piercing green eyes.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't be upset," I demanded, suppressing my racing heart.

"Rose...."

"I was supposed to go back home like others did. I had to say bye to my friends who went home without me and my driver has been waiting for me outside. Give me one reason why I shouldn't be upset?!" I yelled at him.

"Chill, okay? This is important for me. It is not like you and your friends live in the same house."

I scoffed. "Get out of my way," I said, trying to walk past, but he blocked my way.

"I am sorry, okay? Please, you have to understand. I will make it up to you."

"I don't need you to make it up to me. I need you to back the hell up like you usually do and let me finish the project like I always do by myself." I said, walking towards the other role to head out, but he blocked my way again.

"What is your problem?!" I yelled.

"I am sorry, okay? I really don't want you to do the project alone. But I have to go. Tomorrow we will continue, I promise."

"Where are you even going to that is so important than your grade?" I asked, folding my arms.

He stared at me.

"What? Your girlfriend?" I asked.

His face twitched. "What?"

"Can't she wait till you are done with at least one problem in the project?" I asked again.

"No it is not that, and I don't have a girlfriend." He said, making my heart react.

I waved it off. "Then what the hell is so important that you have to run off?"

He heaved a sigh. "My mother's company. I will be taking over soon, so my aunt placed me in training. And I totally forgot that today was my training day."

My heart raced as he explained calmly.

"I am sorry for keeping you back. But please understand. I promise to make it up to you tomorrow." He said, looking at me with emotion.

His eyes moved to my hair.

"You uh...you have something in your hair."

I furrowed my brows.

He reached to touch my hair, but I moved back.

"Don't touch me,"

He raised his hand slightly in surrender.
