Chapter 94

CJ held Rose tightly, kissing her like his life depended on it and ignoring her struggles to get him away from her.

The full moon rested on them as CJ kept on kissing her.

"Hmm...." Rose pushed him with all her strength, making him fall back a bit.

She took a step back as they both stared at each other, panting.

Rose's heart was racing superfast as she stared at CJ with furrowed brows and confusion. CJ looked away, feeling his heart racing as well.

"What was that?" Rose asked.

CJ looked at her with emotion.

"What the hell did you just do?!" Rose yelled.

CJ took a step towards her, but she raised a finger at him, stopping him on his track.

"Stay....away from me," she snarled.

"Rose...."

"You know what?" She retorted, comporting herself.

"Take that path," she said, pointing at the way behind CJ, making him furrow his brows.

"While I take a different path," Rose said, turning away.

"Hey, whoa, that's not going to happen." He said, making her look at him.

"Excuse me?"

"We are sticking together till we are back at the dormitory," he said.

She scoffed. "What are you, my father?"

"No, but...."

"But nothing, okay?" she retorted "I am not sticking with you, you hear me? I would rather die than stick with you of all people."

"You don't have a choice, Rose." CJ said, ignoring his clenching heart.

Rose furrowed her brows.

"We are in the middle of nowhere. It is dangerous for you."

"What do you care?"

"I do care, okay? Believe it or not, I do."

Rose's heart raced again.

"I don't care if you hate me. You have every right to, but I am not taking a different path while you take another.  We are sticking together whether you like it or not."

Rose clenched her jaw slightly. "Go to hell, CJ." She said, turning to walk away.

"Rose,"

Rose didn't respond but kept walking.

"Stop!" CJ yelled, noticing something in the direction she was walking in.

He quickly walked towards her.

"Hey!" CJ yelled out.

Rose kept walking and next, she slipped instantly, making her heart skip a beat.

"Ah!" She screamed and was about to fall down the cliff, but CJ quickly dived and grabbed her hand with his two hands.

"Ah!!" She screamed again, looking down at her feet. Her heart begged to explode at the possibility of falling down to her death.

"Oh God," she let out a breath at how high the cliff is.

She looked up. She saw CJ holding her hand with so much worry and fear of her falling.

"I got you, okay? I am not going to let go," he said with all seriousness.

Rose whimpered, feeling terrified.
