Caesar's Rose

Chapter 105

Everyone's eyes were fixed on the pool where the two Caesars dived into to save one careless girl, as some of them thought about her entering the pool knowing full well she couldn't swim.

Leila and the Adams' scoffed in disbelief.

Seline, Luther and Zach stared at them worriedly.

Seline was most worried.

Luther and Zach shared a look.

Nicholas stood up, but his wife held back his hand, making him look at her.

"Don't you dare," she snarled, glaring at him.

He looked away from her and moved his eyes back to Rose, who was still struggling with the water.

CJ approached from the left and Caesar, from her right side, swam towards her.

Caesar got to her first, holding her, and she quickly placed her hand on his shoulders, letting out a gasp and coughs as CJ got to her.

He locked eyes with his father, realizing that he had jumped in too. CJ gritted his teeth, confirming that his father would never let go of Rose.

Caesar averted his eyes from him as he swam towards the edge of the pool with Rose in his hand. Rose's mother was standing there, looking beyond worried as the guards took Rose from Caesar's arms.

Everyone was staring at them.

CJ remained inside the pool, staring at them. His eyes fixed on Rose, who was still coughing as his father got out of the pool and the guards took Rose away in a bridal style, heading towards the house with Rose's mother following them.

Caesar's mother handed him a towel, which he declined and followed the guards into the house.

His heart ached while staring at Rose.

"Get out of the pool, honey," CJ's grandmother said to CJ, making him look at her.

Rose looked behind as the guard took her away. She sighted CJ in the pool. She averted her eyes, still catching her breath.

"It's okay, everyone. Let's continue partying!" Coach Felix announced.

"As we should," Nicholas' wife said, making Nicholas look at her.

She is sipping her drink. Nicholas shook his head slightly at her as his eyes moved to the house where Rose had been taken in.

The music continued as everyone moved their attention to the party and chit-chats.

"Junior," CJ's grandmother gestured him to come out.

He averted his eyes from her as his head pondered on how Rose got into the pool in the first place. The last time he saw her, she was standing next to the pool with Seline. Seline left, and she was standing alone, looking at the pool.

She can't swim.

She wouldn't just jump inside the pool just to get attention. She is not like Leila or.....

He froze, looking around for the one person that had tried this kind of stupid shit before. His eyes caught Jane looking at the entrance where Rose was taken in with a smirk, giving CJ the confirmation he needed.

She fucking did it. He snarled internally, feeling his blood boiling in anger.

He placed his hands on the edge of the pool and got out of it. His grandmother handed him a towel which he ignored as he headed towards Jane.

He walked past Leila, who kept staring at him as he headed for Jane.

Jane averted her eyes from the entrance, still smirking till her eyes fell on furious CJ approaching her.
