Seline followed her brother into the clinic. Three players from the team joined them as well.

Luther was one of them.

Joey and I were about to enter but....

"No, no, that's enough people," one of the school nurses said, about closing the door.

"We are the friends," Joey and I said in unison.

The nurse closed the door regardless, leaving Joey and me and some players outside.

Joey let out a sigh as the players behind us walked away, leaving just Joey and me standing there.

"I hope it is not something serious," I said.

"Yeah, me too."

I heaved a sigh.

"I need to use the restroom," he said.

I nodded.

"Please stay here till Seline comes out. I will be right back,"

"Okay. Hurry,"

"Alright," he said, walking away.

I looked at the door, feeling terrible for Isaac. I hope he is fine.

Seline was beyond worried.

I don't know why that nurse refused to let us in.

Those players she allowed in are not Isaac's friends. This was his first match with them.

I sucked my teeth, shaking my head.

"Rose,"

I froze.

That's a very familiar voice.

And I can sense him behind me.

I turned around and locked my eyes with piercing green ones.

My heart fluttered.

He is still in his uniform, sweating a little, but it didn't change how cute and hot he is.

God, Rose.

"How is he?" he asked.

I folded my hands, scoffing as I looked away.

"How would I know? I am not a nurse," I said.

He didn't say another word, but my heart raced at his presence.

"I am sorry he got injured," he said.

I looked at him.

"I presume you must be unhappy about it."

I scoffed, looking away.

"I mean...he is your new boyfriend now, right?" He asked.

I looked at him.

He is looking at me.

"Excuse me?"

"Isn't he your boyfriend?"

I scoffed. "Yeah. He is. What? You have a problem with that?"

He stared at me.

"Why can't you stay out of my business? Don't you have a girlfriend too?"

He furrowed his brows.

"That witch, Leila. Your inseparable girlfriend."

"She is...."

"Fuck off," I snapped, walking away angrily.

"Rose," he called, and I sensed him following me behind.
