"Shut. The. Front. Door. He kissed you!"
"Shh, Joey, stop yelling. We don't know if there are people in the toilet," I whispered, looking at the doors. I just finished telling him everything after dragging him into the bathroom.
Thankfully, CJ didn't see us.
"Sorry, but what you just told me is hard to believe," he whispered.
"That was what...." one of the toilet doors opened, shutting me up. I saw a random blonde girl in blue jean trousers and pink crop walking out of the toilet.
I looked at Joey.
Joey moved his eyes, making me look back at the girl. She is washing her hands in the basin.
"Okay, girl, you can go now," Joey said, catching me off guard.
"Joey," I whispered.
"What?"
The girl didn't say a word to Joey but walked out.
I heaved a sigh, placing my palm on my temples a little.
"Can you repeat what you just told me, Rosy?"
"I told you what I told you, now can we think of what to do about CJ leaning on my locker?"
"Geez," he said, still stuck in surprise about what I just told him.
"Joey!"
"What, what?"
"What are we going to do?!" I almost cried. "I need to get my math notebook for today's class."
"Okay, chill. We will just go there and tell him to excuse us so you can access your locker."
I scoffed in disbelief.
"What? That's the only thing we can do? Do you have something else in mind?"
"You are my best friend here, Joey. You should think about something."
He scoffed. "I just did."
"That's not..." I paused, heaving a sigh of frustration.
"Seriously, girlfriend, forgive me for saying this, but I find this shocking and exciting," he said.
"How is this exciting?"
"CJ is your bully. Hell, he has always hated you. He treated you badly countless times, and now he kisses and is presently waiting at your locker with a rose. It is exciting. Just like the novels I used to read."
I furrowed my brows at him.
"A bully falling in love with the girl he usually bullies. The sound of it is exciting, girlfriend," he said, chuckling.
"No, it is not. Stop playing, Joey. It is not exciting."
"It sure is."
"I just want him to leave me alone. Is that too much to ask?"
"Okay, okay, listen. Let's just go there and tell him politely to move aside. Trust me, it will work."
I heaved a sigh.
"Hey, he might have left there already. We have been in this restroom for minutes now. He must have lost patience and left. You know how he is, right?"
"I know, right?"
He nodded. "Yeah."
"Okay. That's true. Let's go. He must have left. Math class is in five minutes. I shouldn't miss it. I need to use my notebook. Exams are around the corner," I said, walking towards the door.
