Luo Qingci merely glanced at Mo Yan, who was struggling to hide his shock, and then kept her gaze fixed on the little dragon cub, her eyes filled with unspoken guilt.
The little dragon cub was genuinely anxious, glaring at Mo Yan with a drawn sword, and hurriedly said, "Don't hurt Chi Qing. She's not a bad person."
She watched Mo Yan warily and then quickly turned to look at Chi Qing, as if wanting to check her injuries but afraid Mo Yan might take advantage of the situation to attack her. She was caught in a dilemma.
Hearing the little dragon cub's words, Mo Yan's expression shifted from shock to disbelief, but only for a moment. His face soon darkened as he gritted his teeth and said, "You still recognize her as a person, and yet you protect someone in front of me? Move aside!"
The little dragon cub naturally refused to move, insisting, "Chi Qing is different from others. She just tried to save that dragon."
She pointed towards the direction where the red dragon had escaped and explained.
Luo Qingci, injured and with a heavy pain in her chest, coughed a few times.
Mo Yan's gaze turned sharp as a blade, and his dragon whiskers trembled. His expression was cold and full of hatred.
He didn't even glance at the little dragon cub and scolded, "Incredibly foolish. After all this time, unable to break free from your shell, and now you're like this. She kept you alive only because she saw you as easy prey. Don't tell me you've forgotten your own identity before you hatched?"
From Mo Yan's words, Luo Qingci realized that Mo Yan had recognized the little dragon cub. But this tone? Luo Qingci frowned.
The little dragon cub was also stunned, opening her mouth as if to ask something but held back.
"Why aren't you coming over quickly? Someone is coming." Mo Yan's tone was harsh. As the little dragon cub hesitated, he conjured a protective barrier with spiritual power and enclosed her inside.
Luo Qingci's fingers twitched slightly but she suppressed her movement.
The little dragon cub struggled, continuously trying to get out of the barrier.
Mo Yan glanced at her coldly. "You're too weak. Weaklings don't have the right to protect others, nor do they have the opportunity to make mistakes. She must die."
Luo Qingci remained upright, quietly watching them. Her exposed eyes were turbulent with emotions, but they eventually settled into calmness.
Upon hearing this, she suddenly raised her hand, her palm exuding a chilling aura. Her fingers flicked, unleashing three sharp ice-blue frost blades in quick succession.
This attack was both ruthless and fast, all aimed at the little dragon cub. The spiritual barrier that the little dragon cub could not break through was sliced open by Luo Qingci's first frost blade.
The explosive force of the spiritual power sent the little dragon cub flying.
Moreover, the fierce momentum of the two frost blades continued to chase and slash at her.
Mo Yan's dragon eyes turned into vertical slits in an instant, and he swung his tail towards Luo Qingci.
He turned to look at the little dragon cub, hesitated for a moment, and then went to her.
Luo Qingci had been prepared. Using the force from Mo Yan's tail swing, she performed the Wind Control Technique and quickly created distance.
Luo Qingci's gaze did not leave the little dragon cub. She clearly saw the little dragon cub's astonished and disbelieving expression.
