After Luo Qingci made her move, she first glanced at Xie Chao, and then finally fixed her gaze on the pale-faced Lin Mu and Di Shen.

Lin Mu and Di Shen stared blankly at the remnants of the barrier. It wasn't until they saw a figure dressed in a white brocade robe with cloud patterns that they snapped out of their daze and looked up. Luo Qingci had already approached them.

She simply looked at them without saying a word, then calmly averted her gaze as if they didn't exist.

Although she didn't say a word, her actions spoke volumes, shattering the pride that these two had always carried.

Luo Qingci turned around and took a few steps, glancing at her two stunned disciples, and said calmly, "Why haven't you returned yet?"

She appeared calm, but inwardly, she was quite pleased. No wonder some people enjoyed playing the underdog or putting on airs—it felt inexplicably satisfying. If it weren't for backing up her two disciples and establishing a good image for the little dragon, she wouldn't have been so flashy.

After all, the deeper the disguise, the sweeter the victory.

Now, after putting on this act, it was time to leave with her disciples. She had already overstepped a bit today and shouldn't push it further.

Su Yu had no idea what Luo Qingci was thinking. When she heard her master tell her to go back, she was a bit puzzled.

But Ruan Li turned around and pointed at Lin Mu, saying firmly, "He still needs to apologize."

Luo Qingci was a bit surprised by this, and her brows slightly furrowed as she looked at Ruan Li with a questioning gaze.

Lin Mu was also baffled, but he still asked sincerely, "Senior Sister Ruan, how do you want me to apologize?"

Ruan Li bit her lip, avoiding Luo Qingci's gaze, and said softly, "Bumping into me was a small matter, and whether you apologize or not doesn't matter. But you must apologize to my master."

Her voice was low at first, but the last sentence was spoken with firm determination.

She didn't look at Luo Qingci or Lin Mu, just stood there with her head slightly lowered, like a stubborn child.

For a moment, Luo Qingci was reminded of sixteen years ago, of that little dragon who used to cling to her stubbornly.

But the memory only lasted a moment because she remembered that, in the little dragon's eyes, she wasn't really Qingci. The little dragon's stubbornness probably wasn't due to genuine concern but rather a bit of scheming.

Luo Qingci wasn't upset by such calculations, because no one understood Ruan Li's motives better than she did. This little girl wasn't as innocent as she appeared; could she really act this naturally?

Suddenly, with a hint of mischief, Luo Qingci pretended not to know, "Why should he apologize?"

Ruan Li pursed her lips tightly, looked up at Luo Qingci with a mix of grievance and stubbornness in her eyes, but said nothing.

Even though Luo Qingci knew there was a lot of acting involved, she couldn't help but find her adorable. Reflecting on it, even with a deep grudge, the little dragon was still just a child—maybe she shouldn't bully her too much.

Lin Mu, stuck in a difficult position, glanced at Luo Qingci's cold face and immediately felt terrified. He knew he had done wrong today, but he was still unwilling.

He wasn't the only one who had spoken ill of Luo Qingci behind her back; she had never cared before. Yet, this time, she stepped in for this new disciple.
