Xuan Peak was located several dozen miles away from the residence where Luo Qingci was. Although the distance was not too far, Xuan Peak was not part of the Three Mountains and Nine Peaks. Instead, it was a solitary peak located deep within the Tianyan Sect, the highest peak except for the Emotionless Cliff.
The peak was home to many precious spiritual herbs and was considered the Tianyan Sect's treasure trove for such herbs. It was also the place Jiang Yuebai visited most frequently.
Although there were many spiritual herbs, the two kinds Luo Qingci mentioned were rare and required luck to find. Even Jiang Yuebai might not come across them often.
After hearing Luo Qingci's words, Ruan Li stood silently in the courtyard, holding her sword, her face covered with a thin layer of sweat and showing a gloomy expression.
Xuan Peak was steep and treacherous. Even inner disciples who could fly with their swords found it challenging to ascend. Ruan Li, who had only begun channeling spiritual energy into her body and couldn't yet control it, would have to climb the peak on foot.
This punishment was no small matter.
Suddenly, a sharp pain surged through Ruan Li's mind, and chaotic images flashed before her eyes. Her eyes turned red, and veins bulged on her right hand.
She forcefully slapped her own head, panting heavily, and dragged her sword back into the house.
Luo Qingci, who was initially worried and decided to observe Ruan Li's performance, happened to witness this scene.
The little dragon cub's reaction was so abnormal that it seemed as if she was stimulated and was suffering from a severe headache.
"What's going on with the protagonist?" Luo Qingci frowned and quickly asked the system.
A red scanning area appeared on the system interface. "The protagonist's mental state is unstable, but her body shows no abnormalities. No significant plot deviations detected."
"Isn't that obvious?" Luo Qingci was somewhat anxious. The little dragon cub's expression was too unsettling; she lacked the vitality a girl of her age should have. How could there be no abnormalities?
"Reminder: Protagonist's favorability has decreased by 99 points."
Luo Qingci's face immediately stiffened, and she struggled to say, "What did you say? How much?"
"Decreased by 99."
Seeing Luo Qingci's shocked expression, the system added, "However, the current favorability is still at -9999, no difference."
Luo Qingci's irritation and sleepiness vanished completely.
"Thank you... I suppose."
She extended her index finger, uncertain of whom to point at, then nervously clenched it.
"Let me ask you again. Was the lack of response before because she didn't decrease the favorability?"
The system responded crisply, "Actually, it was decreasing all the time, but the amount was too small to matter. This -99 value is substantial, so I thought it should be brought to your attention."
Luo Qingci felt a pang of distress. This little dragon cub was ruthless. She had only assigned a task to temper her, and although it was somewhat excessive, she hadn't abandoned her. Why was she so merciless?
First cursing her death, then giving her 99 points off. How could one have the confidence to live under such circumstances?
This situation left Luo Qingci extremely frustrated and powerless. What kind of life was she living now?
