Evelynn's pov:

Wednesday's darkening glare only made Evelynn's smirk grow wider and wider by the minute. The glare did little to hide her squirming soul as she continued to bury arm into her stomach. Her sharp nails were playing with the wool of her cardigan vest. Slowly slinking through the barbed wire design of the material to reach the thin white fabric to draw blood.

The deeper she got the closer she felt the burn of the blessed crucifix the human girl held get closer to her face. "If you want to kill me you'll need to do better than anyone flimsy necklace and a old gun, my darling little raven."

A finger slips into Wednesday's tight mouth and forces one side of her lips to smile. The ravenette made no reaction to the intrusion, she just kept glaring.

"A bit of advice, next time you want to spy, send a professional and not a gossiper. Dry nails and skin are easy to hear," she coos, sparing a quick glance to the chopped hand that was being held back by your dusty demon crow.

Turning back she felt something hot slap her face followed by a shove. A shove that only pulled her finger out of the human girl's mouth.

"Cute!" Laughs the blonde as her left side of her face let off some smoke. Smoke that came from the cross shaped mark and possibly from her boiling blood. It was getting harder not to kill your current fascination.

"Cut the act and get to the point," demands Wednesday. Raising the crucifix.

"Point is, if you have nothing to offer, stay out of the way."

"Worried I'll foil your plans?"

"You'll just cause everyone to die faster." Wednesday presses the barrel deeper into her stomach which she returns by turning one nail into her demonic claw. A claw that broke through the white fabric and tickled the cold skin.

Wednesday still made no reaction, her glare stayed steady like her breathing. A massive contrast to Evelynn's internal turmoil. Her pride was cracking under the fact Wednesday wasn't showing a hint of fear or panic at the fact she could kill her here!

"Wouldn't that be ideal for you? It would make me the enemy. Isn't that why you blocked my visions?"

A barking laugh shots out of her. A laugh that usually caused chills to go down people's bodies and freeze them in fear. But yet again, the Raven did no such thing.

"That was all you. Not me, Y/N, Cassius, or even your living family. Your impatience, lack of understanding and respect has led to your ability to turn its back on you." She leans closer to Wednesday, pressing her chin into the crucifix without batting an eye.

Yet, her pride began to heal at Wednesday's glare fluttering for a second at her soul being drenched with the shadows' coldness. Her soul was within her grasp, she could simply poke it and it would die.

"Do it," sneers Wednesday. "prove to her that you can't change."

Her heart sank a bit- an inch. The small moment she shared with you in the shooting range where you kept asking her if she really had changed- did she love you this time. Yet no matter what she said, she knew you and others didn't believe her. Much less trust her!

Trust- a stupid simple useless thing that she used to scoff at. Trust was something she never understood nor saw in her life. All she ever saw was betrayal and manipulation that used the word Trust. But since meeting you, that word had her questioning things.
