Y/N's pov:
Wednesday's steady breathing was the only thing that brought you a crumb of relief. Her chest rising and facing steadily slowly relaxed your stiff muscles that had turned you into a statue.
Her normal paleness was returning and her eyes no longer cried black blood. However, the darker the blood the harder it is to wash off white things- skin included. The stains that scared her smooth skin taunts you.
"So, which one of you want to go first?" You glance at Enid and Mortica Addams who was supervising Gloria who had rushed over when Ramona called.
"Enid, you mentioned that this wasn't the first time earlier." The tall goth woman turns the shaking wolf who was trying to bury herself in her mountain of plushies.
Enid's shaky blue eyes bounced between the two of you before landing on Wednesday's face. Gulping she explains that the day before Wednesday had gotten a vision. Once she was done with the vision her eyes started to cry the black liquid.
"She acted like it was normal but that never happened last year."
Mortica closes her eyes gently yet frustration rippled through her lids. It was clear that Wednesday was doing something dangerous with her ability.
"What does that mean?" You ask. Mortica doesn't answer. She opens her eyes and sits next to Wednesday. Petting her daughter's face as if she was a corpse in a coffin.
"Danger."
Snapping your head to Gloria you hope for a confirmation. The older latina woman avoids your gaze, keeping her lips in a straight tight line just like her grip on her backpacks handle.
"As in life-threatening." You state. Alarms in your head go off as you remember about millions of other ways Wednesday could die- thoughts you've had that you built plans to avoid them at all costs. But her power wasn't one.
"It's psychic exhaustion." Wednesday's mother says, not tearing her gaze or hand from her daughter's face. "It happens when a psychic overuses and abuses their abilities."
Wednesday visiting you talking about how she was practicing her ability came into mind. How she even uses it to find a murderer from an unsolved case. You recall that to Mortica and Gloria who looked like she was fiddling around in her brain on ways to help your lover.
Thing hops on your tap and gives in detail how many times it had happen and the advancement of the reactions. Each reaction was getting violent and this newest one was the most violent of them all. The one that had made her lose consciousness and have a seizure-like reaction.
There was no room for doubt or need for detail explanation on the dangers. If she continues to do what she has, she will lose her sanity and lead her mind to tear itself apart to escape its illusionist prison to reach whatever it thinks is reality. A brutal death that Wednesday would sure love but one you, Mortica, or anyone that loved her wouldn't allow.
"She needs to stop using her ability-"
"With all do respect but how? You better than anyone knows she doesn't listen. Even if it is for her safety." You state.
"Something is pushing herself to the extreme," You feel her dark gaze on you. You scoff and look at her dead in the eyes. Frustration snaps like a whip in her eyes as she stares at you.
Maybe meeting you had pushed her to the current situation but Wednesday had also cornered you to do crazy destructive things. It was clear she was saying both of you may be bad for each other.
"Loosing her spirit guide doesn't help for they are what put restrictions on their students."
"But can't the living guide?" You lift an eyebrow. The blame was technically shared between the two of you. One of you placed too many restrictions and overprotectiveness while the other encouraged chaos without order through actions.
