Y/N's pov:
Dragging Wednesday through the entire hospital and throwing her into your car you swing into the back with her. Y/B/F/N scrambles to catch your car keys and hops to the front to start the car. In a swift move, she slams her ear pods into her ears and gives herself tunnel vision.
"What were you doing here Wed-"
"I can ask the same Tepes." You scoff at her interrupting you.
"Here to find a pet," you deadpan. The voice in your head laughs and admits that you weren't wrong. You scratch the back of your head to get it to stop laughing. It was distracting you from the matter at hand.
"Clearly. Let me guess, Tyler is your first choice?" Wednesday turns away from you to face forward.
"Angry I was eyeing your pleasure toy?" Her back hand swings to strike your face. You catch it and pull her into your chest. Her radiating face was mere inches from yours. Cursing you she tries to break free. "Hit a nerve?"
"You accuse me of cheating yet you're the one who entered an engagement!"
"Who said anything about cheating! I meant it as a reference to how you play with everyone as if we're chess pieces for your morbid entertainment!" Your eyes flare hints of red and your fangs flash her. "But since we're on the topic, you did cheat. You kissed Tyler multiple times! I was actively dodging engagement as you saw and only entered one because I need strong allies to protect what I love!"
"WHAT I DID WAS NO DIFFERENT FROM YOU!" she finally yanks free and shoves you away. Although you were taller and stronger, the shove made you slouch into your seat. Allowing her to look down at you.
"After Xavier's arrest I felt that it was far too easy." Her teeth gritted against each other as if they were trying to stop her words from coming out. Yet her dark eyes showed she was going to do it even if it extinguished her pride.
She went on how she was able to find all the evidence like personal items on the victims in the shed. A shed she would frequent to and storm to look for evidence that had appeared when she needed it. In a place that was too on the nose.
As she went on her voice got softer. So soft that you had to double take a few times on what she was saying.
"I had to know- it was far too easy.... and at the time I could only think of that because... whenever I was around you I- you made-"
"Made you feel and act without thinking-"
"Stupid," she says. She refuses to meet your eyes even though she was staring into them. Her sight went through you into somewhere far. Somewhere she frequent often due to how her anger fizzled the longer she stared into it to hide something. Spiraling with the changing daylight in her eyes as the car moved was fear. The type of fear that drove people to rely on instinct rather than critical thinking. One everyone felt as a child when the lights turned off and they were alone in their room to face the monsters under the bed and in the closet. What was it, you didn't know and probably would never know because she didn't and never trusted you based on the words stumbling out of her lips.
"So the first kiss didn't work." She bites her lip in disgust for a second. "It wasn't till the last one and when I...."
You put your hand up to stop her. Your ears were burning as your eardrums were blown up by the echoes of her words. More specifically, Tyler's. Each word created deeper and thicker stitches to the newest memory and old ones between Wednesday and Tyler. Causing your already shattered heart to finally begin to crumble.
"You could've just read the damn documents I left you." Your eyes flare up again. "And don't you dare tell me you forgot about them!"
Her eyes finally take in yours. What was once soft was hard and cold. "I couldn't trust you at the time. You were being blinded by envy. What was there to say you wouldn't have tampered with evidence to get him away from me. Just like you did today."
