Author's note: very long chapter!

Wednesday's pov:

Your phone rang with Enid's name flashing on the screen. Quickly, you pick it up and put it on speaker.

"Now do I have your attention princess Wednesday?" Cracks a voice. Her stomach twists and drops as the memory of the vision snaps her throat slightly shut like a guillotine.

You sit up and scoot closer to hear better. Grabbing your cousin/best friend's phone you try to track the call.

"Who are you and where's Enid?" She asks. You let out a frustrated sigh. You tilt the phone towards Y/B/F/N who rolls her eyes and grabs her phone. Immediately punching something into her phone before returning it to you.

"The game has only begun. Do as I tell you and I won't put your dog down. First, don't get anyone involved. No demon crow, mutated hand, or person. This is between us." She glances at your paling face. You look at her a nod no but you quickly nod yes when she slams her heel into your toe.

"You have 20- I mean 30 minutes to find her and her boyfriend." The caller hangs up as words that say "play dead" and a heart organ appear on screen. The heart brought a chill to her- her deal with Evelynn if you don't open up to her if you choose to break the engagement.

No this can't be Evelynn. She's too protective of you, she thinks as she glances over to you. You whisper what that meant but Wednesday knew damn well what they meant and who it was. For who else was calling people through other people's phones? It was none other than the stalker.

Looking at you as you went on your cousin's phone. You looked stressed and angry. The same face you had during the pyre burning when you both were trapped. Her heart shudders as her mind fogs up anxiety.

"Don't get involved," she kicks the other door open before you could say anything.

Running through the school she searches through her mind what the heart and words could hint at. First thought was the Nightshades but there was nothing heart related to them, unless the stalker knew about her mother's murder charge that killed the heir to the Gates household. She did after all stab him in the heart.

Must be something in the hidden library!

"Wednesday," says a hopeful voice. Blocking her sight now was Professor Capri. "What are you doing?"

"Looking for my roommate," she says before trying to go around the red haired woman. The music teacher echoes what she says and moves slightly to block Wednesday. Irritating the already agitated girl.

No matter what Wednesday said or did, the older werewolf refused to move. Her cold fingers slowly reached into her cat's pocket for the revolver that was loaded without the safety on. The more she smiled and tried to get closer to her the more she reminded her of Laurel Gates when she was known as Thornhill. Always acting nice and trying to understand her. The red hair only made it worse. Her already tight throat was getting tighter by the second.

"Capri?" Wednesday let's out a mental sigh of relief as you casually walk down the hall from behind the teacher.

"Your grace!" Capri turns and quickly bows. "I mean your highness. Sorry, still getting used to it. Haven't seen you since your coronation."

Coronation? What was she doing there? Asks Wednesday as she slowly inches away from the interaction.

"I had no idea you were working here now."

"I saw that you kids were going to need all the support you could get to help rebuild Nevermore."

You nod. "Speaking of which, I was wondering if I could talk to you. As you know I'm trying to expand Outcast schools and I want your insight on something I'm working on."
