Enid's pov:

Today was going to be a great day! And the best camping trip for Enid! After all she had wolfed out so now she could join the pack's activities rather than watch them from afar or tag along with the others groups. There was nothing wrong with hanging out with Yoko or others but even with them she still felt like an outsider because they would hangout with their own species. Then again that's how she befriended you.

This is my time! My free era! She thinks as the barista hands over her frappicino. The last one she would have for the next two days. If Wednesday was there she would've given her the side eye.

Can't believe she's coming too! Operation Woes and Shadows is a go! She squeals mentally as the rush of sugar with meat sauce hit her. Now where's Yoko-

"Enid." The rainbow themed girl froze as Ajax stood in front of her with a sorry looking face.

Gulping down a huge chunk of frozen coffee and sprinkles she nervously said hi and crept around the small talk he started.

"Sorry for all that," Ajax scratches his neck and looks anywhere but her eyes. "It's just I've..... I've barley seen you. In all honesty I haven't even talked to you since school ended last year."

WHERE'S WEDNESDAY WHEN I NEED HER AND HER SOUL SUCKING PERSONALITY!?!? "OH sorry about that- the pack has kept me busy since I'm the newest member."

She chuckles softly as she grips the cup to help her stay in place rather than run away to anywhere to escape the confrontation. Seriously where are you Wednesday!? This isn't the time to have a quickie with Y/N- oh wait Y/N is sitting over there- WEDNESDAY!

"Well let's catch up on the bus! Here I'll take your-"

"That's covered," Bruno's larger arms beat Ajax's hand. The skinner boy gave the buffer one a flaring glare as the other smirked at him. Yet Ajax slammed his hand over Bruno's.

"No need," sneers Ajax. The snakes below his beanie began to move and hiss. Likewise Bruno bared his fangs as his claws began to grow slowly.

Stuttering with ways to defuse the situation, all Enid found were ways that would only make it worse or make it even more awkward with Ajax.

"It's just a suitcase!" Says a voice whose owner shoves the two teens away and then proceeds to grab the case. "Sinclair. We need to talk about our cross grade project."

"Y/B/F/N," breathes Enid as the vampire pulls her away with her suitcase in tow. Once the boys were out of sight the vampire noble changed her grip to offering her elbow.

"You okay?" The Vampire's E/C eyes swirled with concern. A hint of annoyance was seen when her eyes flicker to where the boys were.

With a lack of words, Enid just nods and hugs the Earl's daughter tightly as a thank you. Used to having people push her away or go stiff when she got too cuddly, she couldn't help but smile widely when she saw Y/B/F/N do neither. Instead a squeak of surprise came out of her mouth when the killer arms enclosed themselves tightly around her as well.

"Wanna stay with me till things blow over?"

"Yes please!" She breaths, taking in the smell of vanilla and lavender from your best friend's hair. Causing her muscles to relax as if she was falling asleep. Making her smile.

Wednesday's pov:

Looking at the sheet full of contacts and bios of enemies and rivals that didn't buckle at your change of power nor never fully knelt to House Tepes; Wednesday made mental notes on who to contact first and how.
