Author's note: short chapter because this section was a part of the last chapter but got cut off because chapter 95 was already very long. Due to how short it is, I am publishing chapter 97 as well!

Y/N's pov:

It had been three days since the secret meeting event. Three days and two night soon to be three nights since finding out your uncle could be a potential traitor due to Arasaka completing their first phase of their bio weapon project.

If they turned kids into super computers what is going to stop them from turning kids into killing machines- FUCKING KIDS!!! you throw a textbook at the wall and let out a frustrated scream. Everything was spiraling out of control. Too much was being put on your scale to the point the chains holding them were cracking. Causing the topics that needed focus to topple over each other which made things uneven and fall out of focus.

The impending war, your brother's case, your mind control power awakening, Enid's safety, Dort's shit show, the UN project, and your final phase of training for the Throne.

"Fuck me," you groan as you drag your hands down your face. Hitting the Higurma pose from Jujitsu Kaisen.

"I'm good but Wednesday and Evelynn might be down." Your eyes flicker to the beetle on your desk. It's color design made you smile.

Putting the finger down on yout desk, the robotic beetle waddles up and holds on tightly as you rise your hand in front of your face.

"Hello Jinix." The spy gear beetle flickers it's pink and blue wings happily as if it was waving both hands enthusiastically.

"Whats new?" The beetle then went off voicing Jinix's voice clearly about how Isha has made friends and how Lance, Pidge, and Hunk pick her up from class to drag her to get snacks. How science was her favorite along with art. As she went on you smiled. Although the world was starting to burn faster and faster like the wick of a TNT, it was nice to see smaller moments that slowed or dimmed the flame a bit.

Isha when she met Jinix had a bit of trust issues. Those issues only spiraled out after Noxus attacked the sanctuary they were thinking about settling in to heal Jinix's and Vi's adopted father. It only got worse when they found out Viktor sided with Ambessa and Noxus after the attack.

Once the dust had settled Isha found herself unable to trust easily as before. You had gained her trust due to saving her and her family. But even in the beginning it was just a bud of trust. Months went by and it began to bloom. Yet, that was for adults because when it came to kids- Isha was even more untrustworthy. How couldn't she when she saw with her own eyes how children could betray each other for a simple piece of candy?

Then again, a child betrayed her and the others in her original orphanage which led to her to meet Jinix who saved her from the gang kidnapping the kids to work in the Shimmer factory.

At least there's hope there. You let out a gentle laugh.

"Heh, look at you being all sentimental! Your just like fat hands!" You roll your eyes at Vi's nickname.

"Anywho, reporting that we have found something!" You sit back up straight. Jinix them delve into what Lance and co had found out. According to rumors being spread around the school, many claim Tylor was kept in an underground bunker below the house.

"Now that I think about it, many houses here do or had bunkers thanks to the Cold War." You scratch your head in hopes of pulling out something- you swore you read somewhere that Galpin's dad was a soldier during WWII who suffered from CTSD and had urged the town to keep the bunkers even after the Cold War ended, for he didn't trust the peace talks.

"Who spread the rumor?"

"Mayor Walker's son. He said something that he wouldn't be shocked if Galpin knew but didn't accept it hence why he was strict with Tyler. Maybe even had a bunker since Walker would mention at times something about Galpin testing property limits and regulations."

You laugh. Keith and Elvin along with the others and Jinix's mechanical bugs had turned the house upside down but didn't find anything. But if what the dead Mayor's son was right then maybe the bunker wasn't in the house but on the property in the surrounding area.

Opening a satellite image of the house you look at the areas around the house. There was a storage house that had been ransacked by the cops, a dog house, and shallow tiny well, and an unkept vegetable garden platform.

"Could you check the dog house and vegetable bed."

"You high?"

You give the beetle a face. You swear you can see Jinix sweat drop. She mutters a confirmation which is followed by rapid typing. Quickly you turn on your personal mission laptop and begin researching Jericho's Cold War History. True enough, the town did have bunkers but it was a town shared one.

You wrinkle you nose as you look into old housing documents and permits and the town only had shared bunkers. One at the school which was 2 miles from Galpin's house which meant 2 miles away from the abandoned half built Underground Railroad Station. And the other in the library that was 27 miles from both the Galpin's house and the station.

For the next 20 minutes you ran through what Bradbury's daily activities the month before death. You took note he visited the library once a week to read or do community service in the back.

"Found something! TWO ACTUALLY!" You turn your attention to the beetle. "The dog house has a hidden railing. And the garden under the lettuce has what looks like a metal door."

Lettuce only needs shallow dirt and the dog was given away last year! WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT SOONER. Grabbing your military coat that held your pistol and shoving your dagger to your halt. You walk into the shadows. Jinix's beetle robot followed suit.
