Y/N's pov:
Speeding off a small eroded hill, you slide the dirt bike into the suburbs of Jericho. The silent picture-perfect neighbor was slowly being erased by the early October fog. The way the clouds whipped, curled, and puffed around the dull colored houses with their dull colored cars and same length grass.
If anyone were to look at Jericho they would think it was a peace town. But like the fog erasing the town- forgetting its past as if it had Alzheimer's. While your mind remembered the fires clearly.
How fire climbed up the pillars and the trees. How the smoke consumed everything in its path, taking students. How it almost took Wednesday, shanking your senses with her blood like Crackstone's sword stabbing her shoulder.
Clutching the handles tighter and whipping them forward, you shove the fog away.
Wednesday's grip slightly loosed around your waist. "Where are we going?"
"Galpin's house. Elvin said the police will be heading to his place due to suspicious movement."
"What movement?" Cracks Wednesday's voice through the comms of your helmet.
"A large murder of crows-" Wednesday's hold loosens, causing you to whip back for a second to grab her arm. The sudden movement caused the bike to swerve aggressively, knocking over a trash can.
With a strong yank and the shadows she slams against your back. The shadows her arm casts and the ones of your jacket tie themselves around her wrists. Containing her to you.
Stopping the bike at the neighborhood entrance you ask if she's okay.
"DRIVE," she orders. Without another word you do.
Her vision has to be something involving those birds! More thoughts and theories zoom past your consciousness till they slam against Galpin's house. Mixing with the hateful graffiti.
The once nuclear family house now rivaled the old Gates house for it was completely broken. The windows were either shattered or boarded up. The blue paint was chipped away by the random rocks that were scattered on the front yard and drive way. The bit of blue paint that still stood was mangled with red and black graffiti varying from calling Tyler a monster to Galpin a traitor.
"Explain," you order as you whip off your helmet. The goth begins to explain about her last interaction with Galpin and Xavier's painting along with the latest murder in the town.
"And what of your vision?" You take off the safety of your guns. Handing one to Wednesday but she rejected it by pulling out the revolver you gifted her.
She kept it! You think as your chest warms up for a second before it plunges back into reality icy water. You had brought her to an active crime scene after she had woken up from a literal seizure.
"Then there's my vision- a murder of crows," she marches to the front door. "Galpin's warning, Xavier's painting, and...."
"And?" She refuses to face you. "And?"
"The crows in my vision of.... Enid's death," she says softly.
Something inside of you cracked. One of the few most innocent people you knew was going to die soon for Wednesday's visions always hinted to the near future.
"They all have a certain one eyed bird in common," she heads straight to the door and knocks.
"Again- not how we handle an investigation, Addams!" You whisper yell before opening the door with a sigh. Shoving her behind you, you cross your arms in front of you- aiming both guns to the front and side. Wednesday stays close with a newly arrived Atredis and Thing watching her back.
