The next day, at around 1:30 in the afternoon, Will was walking to Johnny's apartment complex, going to find him to hang out like they promised to. Thankfully, Will was able to work later in the day, that way both himself and Peter would get what they wanted. When he reached his close friend's home, he knocked on the door and saw Johnny open the door. Upon seeing his face, Johnny had several bruises,  scrapes and even some cuts on him. "Dude what happened to you?? Did you run into Cruiser's friend group and tried to flirt with the cheerleaders again?!" He asked in concern.

Johnny shushed Will hurriedly, yanking him in the apartment. "Keep it down. No I didn't run into them or flirt with the cheerleaders!.....this time......." He said in a hushed tone, not wanting any of the neighbors to be disturbed. "Okay so you know how last night there was an incident at the convenience store?" He asked Will as if he was keeping a big secret.

The curly haired boy nodded his head in complete confusion, trying to not give away that he did see him when he was Spider-Man. "I had heard about it why....?" He asked, hoping to not regret this.

Johnny gestured to himself with a smug grin. "It was me. I went in there to stop them. Totally helped Spider-Man too." He said, trying to hype up what happened. "After that, I continued on, being sure to fight more bad guys off so that Spider-Man had less to worry about! Lots of crime was stopped." He added on, explaining with great, and slightly over exaggerated detail about how he fought the other criminals.

As he listened to Johnny's stories and ramblings, he couldn't help but feel a little annoyed by his stubbornness. "You continued on?! Why would you do that?! What the hell were you thinking?!" He asked in a frustrated tone of voice.

Johnny's smug grin never faltered, even when Will was getting this infuriated. "Isn't it obvious buddy ole pal? It's because I'm a stinkin genius. Chicks dig Spider-Man. All the girls everywhere are talking about him, dreaming about being on a date with him, wanting to be his girlfriend, the whole shebang. Well, imagine if I did that. I could be as famous as him and get all the girls!" He explained, feeling absolutely zero flaws in his logic.

Hearing Johnny's reasoning behind this, Will was stunned into silence due to how stupid he was. He truly wanted to strangle Johnny, but he resisted, trying to calm down. "Do you have any idea how dangerous Spider-Man's life is doing what he does?!" Will shouted.

"Do YOU?" Johnny asked him back, waiting for an answer.

As much as he hated admitting it, but Johnny was technically right. Sure he may actually know as he does it, but he couldn't tell Johnny unless he was willing to risk revealing his secret identity, and he refused to do that. "Alright you got me there. But still, it's a crazy amount of responsibility to be a hero. It shouldn't be just about trying to get a bunch of girls man!" He said, hoping to get it through to the greasy blonde haired boy's thick skull.

Johnny though, refused to listen to reason. "I can handle it. It's not like I'm going up against supervillains or anything I'm just going after street crooks." He said in a calm tone, hoping to reassure him.

Will groaned in frustration over Johnny's continued persistence. He was clearly so dead set on doing this, not only for the absolute wrong reasons, but in a time where it was still extremely dangerous with Fisk's Fists, and the oncoming supervillains increasing in numbers. "Are you completely ignoring the fact that it's still dangerous?! These guys have guns, weapons, and you don't even have powers.....plus.....no offense dude.....but you absolutely suck at fighting." He said, still trying to save his friend.

"I get that you're concerned about my safety. But I got this. If I can get em scared, I can take em to jail, help Spider-Man a little bit, and, most importantly, get all the ladies coming my way." Johnny said, feeling as if he had thought everything through. "Plus, I've been working out more so my hits are extra strong now." He added on with a grin while flexing his arms.
