About two hours had passed since the massive gang fight, Johnny was doing his own patrol, fighting more of the gangs, criminals and drug lords along the way. After defeating many of them, he'd go up to girls nearby and try to hit on them, asking them to go out with Johnny Martinez...... unfortunately none of the girls even bothered to pursue him....... Disappointed with the many shutdowns, he sits down with a defeated look. "I just don't get it......I'm a superhero....I should have girls fawning over me in a massive line, fighting to get close to me! Spider-Man does all the time! Why aren't I?! Am I doing something wrong?! Is he getting all the attention for himself?!" He asked himself before having a realization. "No.....no it's because I'm dealing with the small fry! I need to defeat a supervillain! I need an arch enemy to defeat!" He shouts to himself, believing that he was a genius for this idea. But there was only one glaring problem with this idea.....where was he going to get an arch enemy? Not like they grow on trees or burst out from the ground like a weed, or fell from the sky magically!
Not too far away from where Johnny was, Hammerhead, now looking like a humanoid hammerhead shark, stalked the city streets, looking for any sign of either Spider-Man, or the newbie that was messing with them. "Where the hell is either of those pesky spiders?! Most importantly......the new Spider-Man that's been causin so much trouble for the last several months?" He asked, bearing his fangs.
His second in command was following close behind him, slightly intimidated by his presence. "I dunno sir ....for all I know, Spider-Man is in Manhattan or Time Square by now......" He admitted with his nerves up high.
It didn't take long before they found Johnny, walking through the city and lost in thought. "That the punk sidekick you've been talking about?" Hammerhead asked, staring at his prey. "This scrawny loser is the guy that's been standin up to us?!" He asked, starting to get angry that his own men were this incompetent that they couldn't deal with someone that looked this......scrawny, weak...... pathetic!
The second in command backed away from his boss, fearing for his own life. "I'm sorry boss! But he keeps getting out alive because of the web head! I dunno how he's survived anything after that!" He said, his voice shaking with fear.
Taking a deep breath to calm himself down, Hammerhead focused his attention to Johnny, waiting for an opportunity to strike. "Don't matter now. Soon enough he's gonna be nothin more than a pile of blood and guts." He said as he sprinted toward Johnny. However, due to his transformation, not only was he stronger than normal with his head, but he was actually faster at running. While he could only run forward, it was at such high speeds, that it wouldn't matter as far as he was concerned.
After thinking about who his arch enemy should be, Johnny could hear running footsteps come towards him. Before he knew it, Hammerhead was charging for him with his head lowered. "HOLY SHIT THAT'S A SHARK MAN!" Johnny screamed out as he dove out of the way, watching Hammerhead slam his head into a car behind him. What he saw, he couldn't believe.... Hammerhead hit the car and sent it flying across the city.....he was that strong now. "Okay, I know I said I need an arch enemy and all, BUT NOT LIKE THIS!" Johnny shouted, trying to avoid another hit. This time, Hammerhead slammed into a building, smashing through it with his skull.
Hammerhead didn't seem very phased by this though. Instead, he stepped out and dusted some debris off him. "You're a spry one aintcha....? Don't worry. I'll fix that for ya real good." He promised Johnny, preparing to rush him again.
Meanwhile, from above the city, Spider-Man swung above ground, searching trying to calm himself a bit after his talk with Johnny. "I know I was rather harsh on him.....but he's not in the safest mindset. He's going to get himself killed doing this." He muttered to himself before hearing Johnny's screams. "Why am I not surprised he's still out there...?" He muttered before swinging to find his best friend. What he saw.... honestly shocked him. "A hammerhead shark man? Here I thought I'd seen everything......" He said to himself before swinging towards the action. Knowing Johnny, he was in the middle of this somehow.....
