~Until The End - Aomine Daiki~

[Vampire AU]

"Holy crap, that's a lot...," a 19 year old female said, quite surprised.

"Careful, a'ight? Aomine, (Last Name)?" A raven haired male with glasses warned, leaning back on his leather chair.

"Don't you think we need more than two people to handle this one? I mean, who knows how many of those things are out there!" The blue head stated.

"None of the other hunters are available tonight. They're either off at another assignment or taking a break, but ya'll be fine, don't worry too much," he said casually.

"Don't worry too much? Don't worry too much?! What if we die, huh?! What if we get killed ourselves, Imayoshi?!" Aomine slammed his hands on the desk.

"Ya won't, I'm sure of it," he replied. "I believe this assignment will be completed."

You and Aomine looked at each other. It wasn't always like this. The both of you always agreed to do an assignment given, no hesitation. But not this time.

Was it because there were more vampires out there than usual? Because the both of you were scared of losing your lives at such an age?

"... Fine. When're we going?" You questioned after the long silence.

10:54pm...

There was always a certain time vampires appeared from the shadows. Coming out when the streets were empty, when there were barely anyone around, waiting for the right time to strike at their next victim.

Heavy footsteps sounded across the street, panting can be heard as the two hunters ran away. It was a cold and pretty dark night.

"This is all your fault, Daiki!"

"Huh?! How the hell's this my fault?!"

"Shut up! The f*cker's gonna hear us!"

"You started it!"

"Shut up already!"

You grabbed Aomine's cold hand, turning into the right corner and backed up against the wall. Both your heavy breathings and the breezing of the wind are the only things that can be heard at the moment.

"Damn... What the hell're we doing?" He asked rhetorically, putting a hand to his forehead.

"Hunting for vampires, duh," you rolled your eyes.

"I know that! It was a rhetorical question! They aren't paying us enough for this crap," the male complained, letting out a frustrated sigh and ruffled his hair.

"Mhm..."

The blue head sat against the wall and looked to his side, "hey, woman."

"What?"

Aomine pointed to his right. Your eyes followed his arm, hand, his pointer finger and then saw a building. The building was white in color and there was a sign that you couldn't quite read.
