You jumped on your bed after coming back home from a long day. Your two friends asked you who you had a crush on, and answered, but you regretted telling them.

You were afraid others might know. I mean, (2nd Friend's Name) usually ends up blurting stuff. Because after admitting, the person you had a crush on spread like a wildfire during that day.

You wanted to just go back in time and deny to them that you even had a crush on anyone. Everyone, who was friends with your crush, knew. Luckily, he didn't, not until a few weeks later.

Most of your classmates kept teasing you, especially your group of friends. They even made a ship name for the both of you. Your crush found out with all the teasing.

Before he found out, everything was all good with the both of you. But after he found out, you noticed that the green head kept avoiding you.

Yep, your crush was none other than the number one shooter of Shutoku, Midorima Shintaro.

Whenever he saw you, he would turn back the other way, or when you would walk past each other, he would walk further away.

You were obviously hurt and a little upset about it, also a little mad at (2nd Friend's Name), too. But you knew this was coming, although that indirect rejection was pretty heart-breaking.

But all that stopped after two weeks. You wondered why, especially when you started noticing Midorima glancing at you from time to time. Soon, it started happening often.

You've caught the green head a billion times and he would quickly look away, a faint red color would taint his cheeks. It was cute seeing him act like that, but you didn't think it meant anything.

"Did it?"

A few months later...

Your friend noticed that Midorima had been looking at you, but once you turn to glance at him, he quickly turns away. It's the same thing with you, too.

She was frustrated at that, since the both of you can't just look at each other for more than two seconds. Although she was frustrated at that, she still found it cute.

After school, your friend messaged you and told you about what happened in maths class today, saying that you'll be happy about it and video-called each other.

"So at maths, Midorima brought up the acquaintance thing and-."

"Acquaintance thing?"

"Remember about a month ago at English, he hesitantly called you his 'acquaintance'?" She asked you, putting quotation marks with her fingers.

"Oh, that...," you remembered, feeling kind of upset as you thought about it.

"Yeah, well, he asked about it today, he was the one who brought it up. He asked me all of a sudden, 'how's (Last Name)? You know, uh, when I called her my acquaintance." Like, bruh, I honestly did not expect that."

"Yeah, that is kinda hard to believe. Then what?"

"I just answered, 'she's fine, but you guys are more than acquaintances. C'mon, you guys are friends.' Then he looked down and I swear, I saw him blush a little! Saying, 'well, yeah, but you know...'."

"That guy, so cute...," you muttered, making sure your friend couldn't hear you.

"And I asked him if he liked you and he was still looking down as he denied it! He still wouldn't tell me after a billion times! But it's obvious he likes you, though~."
