I knew right from the start August was going to be trouble. I wasn't sure what kind however.
He stares at me with those chocolate brown eyes, shaking his shaggy hair out of those gorgeous eyes. Everything he says rings through me and I blush. The same seems to happen to him. When we accidentally touch we just stare at each other and smile. I've heard him sing too. At Roxanne's movie night. Roxanne told him to sing the song he wrote about her. He nodded and took out his guitar and sang. While he sang he gazed at me. He acted like the song was for me. He styled it out though and Roxanne was talking to Cali so she didn't seem to notice.

The song was beautiful. Every word whispered through me. The long, lasting lyrics never ended.
I cursed myself for liking the boy. I can't like my best friends boyfriend. What am I saying?
Of course I don't like him.
Okay that last statement was a lie. I defiantly like him. Just great.
August hangs around with our group a lot and since I'm Roxanne's best friend I see him all the time. I try not to melt when I am near him. I mean how could I tell Roxanne that I was falling for her boyfriend, August Cantwell?
