After Dad yelled and slapped me I grabbed a CD player and the CD August gave me. I rushed to the shed and plugged the player into the socket. The shed had one socket at the side because it used to be an office but Dad didn't think it was necessary so he turned it into a shed. I slit the CD into the player. And listened.
There was a strum from a guitar and then the song began. The music flew through my body. Each note flurried through, And then he began to sing. I was pulled into a whole different world. Everything made sense for the three minutes of the song. I thought the long lasting lyrics would never stop.
