"July?" Kiki called, softly when I was just about to walk into my bedroom.
"Yeah?"
"Who are you in love with?"
"Oh, that was my boyfriend," I began.
"Your boyfriend?"
"Yes."
"You have a boyfriend?"
"Yeah, his name is August."
"Wow!"
I figured that was a good enough explanation for an eight year old.
"Can I meet him?"
"Sure, I'll sort it out," I smiled.
"Thank you," She said, walking off.
I went to my bedroom and sat in my bed. I heard Mom and Dad coming through the front door with Amelia and just sighed.
