Annabelle

Calum spend a lot of time in his room FaceTiming. I never found out who he was FaceTiming until three days before we went back to school when I ended up overhearing a conversation outside his door.

I was walking towards my bedroom with an armful of clothes when I heard Calum say
"I love you too, goodnight."
And then his chair scraped the bare, wooden planks so I ran along to my room before he came out and saw me.

I didn't know who he was talking too. I thought maybe it was a family member but I wasn't sure.

The next day I was walking past Calum's room early, at about half seven and I heard him talking on FaceTiming again. The conversation went like this,

Calum : Morning Annabelle
Annabelle : Morning
Calum : So how are you?
Annabelle : Okay, I suppose.
Calum: Just okay?
Annabelle : Well my parents found a picture of you in some old things of mine and tore it up saying how glad they were that I was over you. *sighs*
Calum : *laughs*
Annabelle : They literally spend an hour watching tv while complaining about you and your family. *sighs*
Calum : Look darling, I don't really care
Annabelle : I know, but I want them to like you
Calum : I think we're past that. *laughs*
Annabelle : I know, your right, like always.
Calum : My parents just don't let me mention your name.
Annabelle : I miss you.
Calum : I miss you too Anna
Annabelle : I just want to kiss you.
Calum : I just want to kiss you. *sighs*
Annabelle : I hate having a secret boyfriend. *sniffs*
Calum : Don't cry, look I hate having a secret girlfriend but we'll be together soon remember?
Annabelle : *sniffs* Yeah, I love you Cal.
Calum : I love you too baby.
Annabelle : I have to go, bye. I'll call again at seven.
Calum : Okay, bye.

I was in shock. Calum had a girlfriend? Someone named Annabelle. I stood there stunned and didn't even notice Calum's chair scooting against the floor as he stood up. And all too soon Calum opened his door.

"JULY?"
I went red.
"Oh hi Calum..... just dropped my clothes while I walked by.."
"Oh, shut it July! You are a terrible liar! You heard that whole conversation didn't you?" "Um....yes, I did. Sorry."
"Well someone was going to find out eventually." He sighed.
"So your not mad?"
"What's the point? There's nothing I can do now."
"Oh."
"Come on in, I better explain about Annabelle."

A/N
Not going to lie, I got the name Annabelle from Percy Jackson. The character isn't based on Annabeth or anything. I'm just in love with the series right now >_<
