"Roxanne, we need to talk," August ordered.
"Go on," Carmen said giving him an evil smile.
"Alone," he sneered at her.
"Okay fine, catch up with you later Carmen," Roxanne sighed.
"Whatever," she muttered, walking off."So go on," Roxanne said.
"This has to stop," he sighed.
"What has to stop?"
"Blackmail."
"What are you on about August?"
"Roxanne I'm breaking up with you," August said.
"WHAT?" Roxanne cried.
"Roxanne, I know you like me but I don't return the feelings. I haven't loved you in ages. You know that!"
"Well, we've been through this, if you break up with me then say goodbye to your Daddy's job," she giggled, with an evil look in her eyes.
"Roxanne please."
"You've tried to break up with me a ton of times August but I won't drop this threat. Get over it. You have to be my boyfriend."
"Roxanne, this is appalling. I love someone else. You know I do."
"Didn't you get over that crush?"
"Roxanne I love July and there's nothing you can do about it," he sighed.
"Well you're not going to be with her!"
"Rox, that's where your wrong."
"Don't start this again August, last time you started kissing her and going all soppy I had to humiliate her, ignore her and make life miserable for her. But that bitch did deserve it anyways."
"You're jealous Roxanne! I love July Summers, not you."
"I am not! I never liked her anyway. I only made friends with her because I thought she was going to be rich, I mean her hoodie looked expensive!"
"Roxanne! That's so not true!"
"Whatever, look August do you really want your Dad to lose his job? Because if you break up with me I'll make my Dad fire him."
"Roxanne, we are breaking up whether you like it or not. I should have done this from the start. I should never have let you control me or let July suffer like she did."
"August stop this nonsense!"
"Goodbye Roxanne."
"NO AUGUST! STAY WITH ME OR ELSE! OR ELSE I'LL MAKE YOU MISERABLE LIKE JULY, I'LL HURT HER EVEN MORE! YOU'LL REGRET THIS TRUST ME!" Roxanne raged.
"I won't regret this Roxanne and you won't fire me Dad."
"Why wouldn't I?" She snarled.
"I'll show you," August smiled. That was my cue. I turned off the recording and came out from behind the lockers.
"JULY!?!?"
"I have the whole conversation on camera Roxanne," I smiled.
"WHAT?" She cried.
"If you get your Dad to fire August's Dad then I'll show this to Mr Jones."
"WHAT? Ughh, fine losers you win this round," she sneered.
"Doesn't that make us winners?" I laughed.
August joined in. Roxanne went red with rage.
"Your Dad won't get fired but I'm not going to leave you guys alone, not even if you threaten me with that stupid video. Trust me. I have a lot more against you that you'd think," she said, flouncing off."Look July, I don't think we should report her on anything else. I really don't want to have a proper fight with her because I've known Roxanne long enough to know that her last sentence was not a lie," August sighed.
"Yeah, I agree," I said.
"What are you up to after school?" August asked.
"Just staring out the window again," I sighed.
August had persuaded me to come to school today to film the conversation.
"Well I'm coming round so you better not! And don't you dare step near that raiser!" He laughed.
I just laughed with him even though I knew I was going to do it.
