I came to see Kiki again the next day. I sat on the chair next to her and took her cold, dry hand. She just looked like she was sleeping. I wish that's all it was. My grandmother had died not waking up from a coma. I didn't want that to happen to Kiki. I couldn't loose another sister. I couldn't go through that torture again.
I kept ahold of her hand. I saw her old clothes pilled in the corner. I noticed at
scrunched up piece of paper slightly poking out of the pocket to her muddy, tattered jeans.I let go of Kiki's hand and went over to the jeans. I picked out the paper and took it with me to the seat and brushed the dirt off it.
It said in beautiful writing,
For Kiki Summer

I folded the paper and put it in my own pocket. This was important. Maybe this woman knew what happened to my sister. I had to find out.
