I always refused to meet up with Summer. So she came around to my house on the Friday, after the two weeks I spent off school.
Calum let her in. She pounded up the stairs and into my bedroom. I was staring out the window.
"July?" She whispered, softly.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"What are you doing?"
"My new hobby," I sighed.
"This isn't healthy," she said.
"It's fine Summer, honestly,"
"No it's not! Why haven't you been at school?" She cried
"I'd rather stare out my window," I sobbed.
"July! Snap out of it!" Summer said, shaking me.
"Leave me alone," I whispered with tears leaking out of my eyes.
I wiped my eyes. Unfortunately Summer saw the marks.
"July, why are your wrists marked? It isn't from your Dad is it?"
"No. Only the bruises on my face are."
"July, are you self harming?"
"No."
"July, this is seriously not healthy. Please stop. You can't do this to yourself!"
"Why not? My life is so fucked up anyways. I might as well punish myself for living instead of May and becoming the horrible person I have!" I snapped.
"I need to get you help," Summer said as she watched me with tears in her own eyes. She ran out of the house but I didn't go after her. I just jumped onto my bed and cried myself to sleep, even though it was only five o'clock. I dreamt about May. It was a very vivid dream.
