Amelia came along just under two weeks after May's death. She had many problems with her health. Nothing physical but still serious.
They said treatments and regular hospital stays wouldn't stop until she was ten or twelve.Mom and Dad have been following her around endlessly because of her health problems. The doctors said she had a fifty fifty chance of dying. Mom and Dad are now terrified about losing Amelia so both of them watch her like a hawk.
They don't notice Kiki's cries every night. Or the way she waits an hour and half to be tucked in every night. They haven't even asked either of us how we are getting on at school and every time we say it they shush us because Amelia needs them.
Calum tries not to care so he blocks them out and spends all day in his room or with friends. Kiki is only seven and needs her parents and I'm still a teenager.
I'm fed up with Amelia this, Amelia that, Amelia, Amelia, Amelia.
