The next I saw of August was on Friday when he was at school kissing Roxanne. I realised there that he made is choice. Tears formed in my eyes. I don't know why I felt so upset, it's not like I ever had him anyways. I wondered if this was his master plan to get me out of the way, was it all an act? I suddenly felt sick. My wrist hurt even more. He looked up and saw me. I ran off, while more tears fell from my eyes.
In English I couldn't concentrate. It was weird because I love English. I love the subject and the teacher. Ms Carroll was my favourite teacher. We were getting our copies back as we had to hand them up the day before so she could correct them. I was kind of nervous because I had been writing with my left.
Ms Carroll handed them all out except for mine.
"Uhh Miss?"
"Yes July?"
"Um I never received my copy back." I said shyly.
"Oh yes, well I need to talk to you about it at the end of class okay?"
I gulped.
"Yes of course Miss."
"Oooooh someone's in trouble!" Carmen whispered.
"Shut up Carmen."At the end of class I went up to Ms Carroll.
"Um Miss? You wanted to see me?" I said, nervously.
"Oh July, yes I did. I need to talk to you about your writing and work standard."
I blushed red.
"Oh?"
"Well July, look at this lovely neat writing." She said, showing some work from earlier on in the year.
"And look at this mess!" She cried, showing my recent work.
It was sloppy and almost impossible to read.
"And your standard has not been its usual, Is everything okay?"
"Yes Miss, everything's fine. I'll fix my writing and work at my usual standard." I said, trying my best to smile.
"Okay July, but if you ever need to talk I'm here."
"Thanks Miss. I appreciate that."
Then Ms Carroll handed me my copy and I stupidly took it with my right hand. I groaned loudly and the copy fell along with me, onto the floor.
"JULY! OH MY GOSH ARE YOU ALRIGHT?"
"Yea Miss just fine." I said groaning. She bent down and took a look at my wrist.
"Oh July! Your wrist! You need to go to hospital right away!"
"No no Miss I'm fine, really!"
"You are most certainly NOT fine!" She cried.
I tried to get up but when I accidentally leaned down on my wrist hard and the pain shot up it making me fall down again and bang my head on the table. Then everything went black for the second time in a month.
