Acting Out

Kiki is finding things with Amelia hard.

Each night Kiki still waits to be tucked in for over an hour and a half. But we both know it's a long shot.

After Amelia is tucked in our parents stay with her for over an hour. They have small camp beds in her bedroom and a little television set. There is a bookcase and a sofa in her room too along with Amelia's cot of course and all her other things.

Eventually Mom and Dad will go and watch tv or just go off to bed. I tip toe into Kiki's room. She is always crying. I snuggle in with her and usually end up falling asleep in her room. At about five in the morning Amelia cries for Mom and Dad. I always wake up and creep back to my own room and sleep for an hour. At six o clock Amelia cries again. I usually just get out of bed then because what's the point in trying to sleep any longer?

Kiki also hasn't been getting on great at school. She tells me that she cries everyday in the bathrooms. I believe her because she always comes back with a red face. But Mom and Dad never notice. Kiki has no proper friends and she refuses to do her work. Her teacher has contacted Mom and Dad but all they did was forbid Kiki from watching television which made her worse.

So now everyday Kiki is kept in at lunch time, has no proper friends, doesn't do her school work or homework, throws things, talks back to the teacher, cries and yells at other students. I'm getting scared that they are going to take extreme measures with Kiki. Although Mom and Dad can't understand it all I can say is I wonder why she is acting out.
