"Kiki...it wasn't like that!" I said, almost in tears.
I realised now how bad it looked.
"So you deny this?" She frowned.
"Well...okay yes...no..not all of it." I stammered.
"Meaning?"
"Meaning, I did kiss my old best friend's boyfriend but I did not force him into it." I sighed.
"That's still bad."
"Look I can explain!"
"So go on then."
"Okay so I became best friends with a girl named Roxanne. And this other girl Cali didn't like being pushed away from Roxanne. And you know how I got suspended? when Carmen Smalls, Carmel's sister, came she twisted my wrist and put makeup on herself to look bruised. I got in trouble. Later when I still had a sore wrist I crumbled on the ground panicking and hit my head on a table. I was knocked unconscious, which is a bit like fainting. When I woke up I started panicking again. Roxanne's boyfriend tried to calm me down. He leaned over then and we kissed. I didn't want it to happen! Honestly I didn't!" I panted.
I had tried to explain as best I could for an eight year old.
"Oh July! I'm sorry, You've had a bad time like me! I feel really bad, you didn't give out to me or be mean when I told you about the stuff I did." Kiki cried.
"Don't worry about it Kiki Coke!" I smiled, weakly.
"I...well...I'm sorry."
"No problem." I said, hugging her."Francesca also said that Carmel moved schools." Kiki said, quietly.
"Why?"
"Because the girl who got thrown out the window is coming back to school after the break and Carmel doesn't want to be in trouble."
"But how can she just persuade her parents to just switch...like that?"
"Dunno" Kiki said.I still didn't understand how she could just go to her parents and be like
"Oh, I don't really want to go back to my school can I switch after the break?"
And according to Kiki her parents just nodded without question.
